I went from a Trijicon MRO to a 4T and holy shit that was a major improvement! The clarity is not even close. The 4Ts aspherical lense is top notch and the dot is far more crisp. I also love the clear lense caps that I just keep up at all times. I truly don’t understand why Trijicon red dot glass is bottom of the barrel garbage when it comes to clarity. ACOG and account glass is fantastic but the red dots glass fisheye like crazy.
Am a big fan of the circle dot reticle and eotech's bigger window. under nods I actually prefer my romeo 8t over my exps3. The better battery life/shake awake and muti reticles really makes an upgrade over Eotech and the price is pretty similar though the 8T is a thicc optic
The EXPS3 projects a virtual image of the reticle at the plane of your target so you just have to focus on your target. Also the central 1 MOA dot remains a 1 MOA dot with magnifiers. A magnifier behind the 2 MOA RDS spots will be also magnified (2 MOA spots becomes 6 MOA spots with a 3X magnifier. Some RDS has spots that are more oval (eg., Holosun 512), with 3X magnification the oval becomes a 6 MOA football. It’s worse if you have astigmatism (spot becomes one huge smear).
False. You are also magnifying the TARGET. Therefore it stays whatever size it is.

Nice! Don't know what direction you want to take this channel, but a couple pointers as an audience member:
+ Have a script/ talking points to read off of for smoother narration
+ Video framerate needs a boost
+ Show list of the pros/cons on the screen as you talk, then list them side by side at the end
+ Want to see these optics/ equipment in action! Or at least let us see through different modes through the lens.

I never dug micro red dots and the EO tech is just a one trick pony but with right mount like Scalarworks or GDI the Aimpoint Pro looks so sexy!👍🏼🤯🔫

The EXPS3 can be found on sale for under $600 when they’re on sale (I just got an EXPS3-4 for $600 today from Primary Arms).
Just a note, the new production t2s have a worse battery life. You need to be on one lower brightness setting to get that 50k hours. So level 8 would now have to be at level 7 to get the same battery life as setting 8 used to be, if that makes sense. Im between a t2 and 4t pro....which do you like more? I like the battery life and price of the 4t, but something has to be said for the simplicity and durability history of the t2. Ive also heard there is a glare in certain lighting conditions on the 4t. (This will be used with NV and possibly a magnifier)
Out of the two..the 4t pro is a really really good bang for the buck. I have not had glare issues with the 4t and will be doing more testing with it shortly. One of the next videos I have coming up is looking though the optics with night vision to show what it looks like. Stay tuned for that.
And good to know on the T2. Will need to check if mine as an older model is impacted with that battery difference. Thanks for brining that up!
If you find a t2 on a good sale get it. But if not Get the T4 pro imo.
@@Justinguides ya I found it in some forums. I guess it is impacted by t2s with a serial number of 40xxxxx or 45xxxxx and higher. Has to do with new emitters they are using

No real experience with the T2, but I will say the bdc in the 4T works well with a magnifier if that's a major consideration. It helps me get consistent hits to around 400 yds vs just a dot and a 4x magnifier.
What is the mount and other device you have on your 4T? Would I need an additional mount to run it with a Magnifier ? New to the optic stuff and want to do a buy once cry once situation
I have it on a GBRS mount.
You can mount it to a unity 1.93 and get an omni flip up. Thats how I would do it.
Device in the front is a laser for NV shooting. Not needed if you want to use it with a magnfier
