Sending good wishes to all the bicep tendons competing out there
I am an American, so I always wish my neighbors to the North well. It's good to see a new Canadian doing the show, but we all miss JF he's the man.
I’ll be there for the 3rd year in a row on Saturday. Been to multiple giants lives and royal Albert hall is my favourite one
It's my favourite too
People seem to be throwing a lot of doubt on Tom, considering his most recent results are defending his Britain's title, finishing 3rd at the Arnold's, and taking his world's title back from Mitch. He seems like he's focused on trying to win everything he shows up to this year
The doubt is from history. He used to use giants live as only training and chance to meet the fans. Now he's focused on the big four, and seems to be more open to really going all out on the other shows. Excited to see it, but not everyone is the same on how they can hold strength.
Came 3rd at ASC cause the scoring system was a mess in the last two events and half the field got injured.
@@antoniocenteno1483 waste someone else's time. This is a Stoltman hate free zone.
Going even further back, he won World Tour Finals last year. He seems to be taking Giants Lives seriously now
Perhaps it is to do with the wrecking ball hold. He will probably get 1 or 2 points and lose the whole comp on this one event.
Would love to see Iron Biby do the flint stone lift
@@craigpawalawski4232 Not sure he'd have the shoulder mobility to do btn. But he's push pressed 260 out of the rack in training.
Can't wait for this weekend
Great to see Andy Flynn and Kane Francis in there. Hopefully they put on a good showing and can become more regular fixtures. Tom for the win.
The problem with Pa is I feel like we say he has good events in EVERY competition, but we never see him perform anymore. I suspect we'll see Mitch take this one overall
Issue with Mitch struggles alot with Stones at these shows
@@petershortland478 neh, he's good when he's trained for it. his results only drop because he doesnt train stones much for the smaller comps. he took third on stones at the shaw last year only behind tom and brian. second on stones at both wsm23, and 24 only being behind tom. he's good at stones when he wants to be, and it looks like he has been training them more regularly
Cannot wait for my first giants live
Is it worth holding onto the wrecking ball hold for 2min+ if it siezes you back up and effects your stone lifting?
Wheres the link below?
Good channel and getting better
Tom, Evan, Mitch, all with a good chance for the win.
Agree
The fast pace of the show is an event in itself.
@@andrewgilbertson5356 It's not that fast. GL slow it down at every opportunity. Every athlete is both introduced and interviewed for every event. It's quite tedious, tbhm
I think Mitch is going to win this and Hafthor will win Smoe, and I am a huge fan of Tom's , these other guys are really hungry and the events are really good for them.
Enough of Pa getting an invite
Luv u guys!
What shows are good in UK this year?
What a crazy line-up for a first big time show,
Really looking forward to that axle battle. I want to see a new record. *EDIT* wanted to say that I'm picking Mitchell. As Loz and Liz mentioned, he is hungry, and super competitive. No hand tear this time hopefully.
This one is so tough to call because guys are probably peaking for SMOE, so we don’t know how much they put into these events, but there’s enough overlap that I think it’s impossible to look past Tom and Mitch for top 2. 3rd will be Evan or Ragg. I have to give it to Tom for the exact reason you said, he needs to be done by at least 2pts to even have the opportunity to lose
"Link is in the description below"
not there
Can’t wait to watch it and I’ve got to say Tom for the win I would love to see him do it ❤
Top 3 usually easy, but the order is difficult. I the T-Rex gets it done. Although, all of these guys can ruin someone else's day.
Would be fascinating to know your thoughts on which shows had the strongest line ups 😊
@@samarthur1847 WSM every year.
@@damiensmith9240 Nope, no Thor. SMOE for sure.
Keep in mind that Tristain had no prep for the conan's at WSM and it's not an event that athletes are habitually training. I think it'll be a great event for him with a prep.
I dont see Tom or Mitch peaking for this since strongest man on earth is coming up and that gives the likes of Matt a big chance.
I would say Matt is also focused on SMOE
@BigLozOfficial good point Loz I didn't think about it in that way.
Hooper 1st, Stoltman 2nd, and Hoath 3rd. Ragg is too weak on the Axle, Singleton is too weak on the Conan's.
Tom 1st
Mitch 2
Evan 3rd
Not sure about anyone else, but I did struggle to follow parts of the episode a bit due to the epic background music.
Enough of Pa. Give some up and coming guys a shot.
Agree
Rag, Hoath, Francis and Flynn aren’t exactly the old guard.
Cool, let those up and comers win things and earn an invite 🤷
@@FCMorba And Pa's earned it? 😂
@@JBS7551pa will never win z big comp or even podium there should be a limit to losers before they move them out
You didn't put the link in the description!
Tristan Hoath could steal some points on deadlift too but I see a battle for first and a battle for 3rd.
Hooper 58.5
Stoltman 55.5
Ragg 44
Singleton 42
Hoath 38
Wow scores and all. Your brave 🤣
@@77slate😂😂
@@77slate always fun to get it all together leading up to the comp and seeing how wrong I am afterwards haha!
@@Klettnation I've given up trying to do predictions. I always root for the underdog anyway. 😂👍
wait more important 12:07 where is my tin foil hat !!!
Looking forward toy second time at the classic
Bringing my gf
Will b her first ever time at a strongman show
The RAH is the best GL show and this one is going to be epic!
Fingers crossed for Tom. He is the best when he puts his mind to it but historically that's just a comp or two each year. A few more wins on major comps besides WSM would ad to his legacy.
I feel this comp will be more of a steping stone for Tom gong by what hes been up to since winning. SOE is where Toms main focus will be im sure.
💪🙂💯
Liz is looking tan and fitter than ever. She must be putting in the work at the gym in preparation for her upcoming strongwoman contest. Keep it up.
Its gonna come down to stones
Evan Singleton has been training like an Evan Singleton lately
Guys u still remeber Laszlo Fekete❤
💪🏻
I think Evans is going to take the win, because Hooper is focusing on the axle and SMOE.
love u 2
The last time a strongman did something impressive in terms of results: either Mitch or Thor in 2018
1. Mitch
2. Evan
3. Tom
Tom 1
Mitch 2
Evan 3rd
😊
To be fair. 3 of the last 5 WSMs were Tom.
@@spiritfingers98 3 of the last 4.
@@damiensmith9240 unless he won it in 2020 then that's still 3 of the last 5.
@@spiritfingers98why stop there? If you go back to 1990 then he’s won 3 out of the last 35 🤣
Because the point is about WSM not winning their following competition in the last 5 years. If you don't stop there you're having an entirely different conversation
@@spiritfingers98 my point is 5 is an abitrary amount just like 35 is. Usually when reciting a statistic like "3 out of the last 5" you'd start from the year the first was won, which was 2021. In which case, Stoltman has won 3 out of the last 4

Nope, hes a WSM specialist. He'll never win a heavy competition.
I'll be rooting for Hooper but this is really selling Tom short. He's a phenomenal strongman and well capable of winning any competition.
@@crazy10bearsThe issue is we've been having this talk for the last 4 years and Tom always falls short. He did got 2nd ah Shaw's last year, I'll give that, but has proven sevem times he is not Arnold's material. "But he 3rd place" people might say. The only reason he got 3rd is because the scoring system for the Axl and Stones (specially stones) was SO bad this year and half the field got injured at about the 3rd event too.
@@antoniocenteno1483 Tom hasn't really seemed to take comps outside of WSM all that seriously until last year. He was also 3rd at 2023 SMOE with a disastrous start.
@@crazy10bears I would put money on it he never wins the Shaw Classic, The Arnolds or the Rogue Invetational. I think because of his build he benefits from physics more than most and in pure strength events, he is lacking behind others.
Would you rate him as top 5 in deadlift? squat? viking press? farmers walk? a hercules hold? I wouldnt, but put him in events where leverage is important and hes right at the top of the lists.
He has improved, but I dont think he'll ever be good enough in enough events to win those heavy lifting comps.
@@stephen2583spoken like a true armchair fan😢
Maybe do your research on autism 😂
top 3, Evan, Tom and Tristian
Pa has good events and he will still be last 😂
The only person i know of to have the wsm championship titles is Mariusz Pudzianowski he has five in total. Nobody has in past or present has beaten his wsm championship title count yet that i know of.
you are forgetting that hooper gave Brian the win in Shaw classic last, it was so clear for everybody to see that
Except he didn’t, both Loz and Mitch addressed this. Mitch knew he couldn’t win when Brian loaded the 2nd implement onto the stairs and thus decided he could stop as his 2nd place was guaranteed
@@jaket2274 mitch is just a nice person to say that
did you see the show
@@lytken yeah I saw it and that’s what happened, he literally couldn’t win
