I know an AIR 650~ person who was refused selection in civil services even after getting excellent marks. He scored 350+ in sociology optional which is very rare. His parents are retired from PSU so he was refused get OBC reservation. Now he is struggling to open his own coaching.
Same cases is happened with recently terminated/suspended 2011 batch IAS officer from UP cadre who have availed physically handicapped quota to secure post in UPSC and now a days after devoting unsuccessful life in Bollywood want to return UP cadre. Hope you will guess the name. Request you bring such kind of things in public attention for welfare of lakhs of aspirants who attempt this exam every years.

Yes you are right name along with roll no should be published to ensure transparency, I know a person who is claiming that she has qualified pre 2024 but there is no way to verify it, but seeing her attitude and preparation for mains it doesn't seem she has even qualified pre and is just fooling people because no one knows her roll no, but if name was published it could have been verified and she has never qualified prelims in last 5attempts

Giving you some information that can make this story big. Remember Devyani Khobragde who is an also a daughter of a retired senior bureaucrat and was arrested by US government for Visa fraud. She used similar tactics to pass UPSC. She has managed to become Indian ambassador to Cambodia. Her family is very closely connected to the present case you are discussing.-

I am living in Australia from past 1 year and the only thing i observed here is, respect. How people respect everything. Indians will walk into a store as if they own the place and the person serving them is their servant. Whereas, no matter how rude a white customer is, they will 100% say please and thank you. It literally starts from the basics. We indians should have a moral/value education/basic civic sense class from the school level.
4:42 UPSC was considered as a sacrosanct examination but it has to improve many things. 1. Release Prelims answer keys right after declaring Prelims result: Currently UPSC releases Prelims answer key 1 year after Prelims paper when aspirants have already left the preparation or they are preparing for the next attempt. Early release of answer key provides clarity with respect to what mistakes did the aspirant make and should he/she give next attempt. After Prelims results, UPSC should release Prelims answer keys and cut-off. 2. Cancelling of poorly framed questions in Prelims and not providing any explanation why xyz question was cancelled. It affects the cutoff. And aspirants get to know which questions dropped only in the next year. 3. 26:52 UPSC is a stubborn and opaque body who does not want to change for the better.

My dad went to nda, his father went to nda and so was i groomed like a cadet my entire childhood and that is the leg up. I chose not to go for the services because i envy my Aggarwals/ Patel’s friends for their business accumen and risk appetite but guess what ? Initially UPSC rejected her candidature and did not allocate any post due to dubious OBC NON CREAMY LAYER CERTIFICATE, as father was a directly appointed Group A officer (apart from private earnings). All upper caste friends of mine from up and Bihar have schedule caste certificate ..and they have used it fully in to get quota.. India will not develop until it's current bureaucracy is dismantled completely and meritocracy, morality ,competence,transparency is given priority..

He is doing great work be it 2min series , pathway to prelims , csat series or free sociology optional playlist , sir I myself staying here in Old rajendar nagar aka ORN , Delhi have seen the institute closely , everybody here is after money but when it comes to socio optional , believe me sir every student even socio optional teachers suggest for your videos to go though. This is the great work you've been doing. I myself have enrolled here in one of the institute just because I can't go with online classes else if sleepy would have offline camps in delhi no doubt I would have been your first student to enroll. Has to file a case in supreme court and request for CBI probe for the one who cleared the UPSC since 2016 under this order 1) Disability 2) son/ daughter of Beaureucrats 3) EWS category from 2019. I believe Indian citizens will be surprised to know there are many pooja khedkars out there. Finally There should be reforms in UPSC mode of selection otherwise this will continue ever year.

Bad performance of previous governments does not excuse bad performance of current government. Current government is more focused on creating unnecessary jumla. One day they will make our country name a debate when it is already equally India/Bharat, next they will make language issue, another day they will keep shouting UCC without even providing a draft document till now to inform public about details about the UCC so we can debate, and they will say constitution needs to be changed without out going into details on what they intend to change. They have no intention to reform education, land laws, labour laws, anti-corruption laws etc. which are most urgent needs in our country. Unemployment, overburdening financial policies for middle and low income of our society, corruption, Scams (NEET UPSC Electoral Bond etc.), infrastructure quality issues, pollution issues, judicial backlogs, inefficient bureaucracy are not being addressed at all.
Issue is serious and must be acted upon by the govt., howerver power structure established by British and Congress has more or less destroyed fabric of our society, however sweeping comments and comparison with USA and west is downright wrong and misleading, i wonder what this guy teaches his students! I am damn sure about falws in selection process because every year most selected candidates belongs to particular geographic region of India which is happened to have least literacy rate. How is that possible? There are states with best quality education but least number of selections.
In my state there is no craze for UPSC because people have other aspirations and find other ways of contributing to our society. These UPSC officers from terribly performing states coming to work in our state are never able to understand the local conditions and mindset and they are terrible at administration or drafting policies relevant to our state. I always wonder how these people cleared UPSC from their words and actions. And these people are sometimes in charge of whole districts😂. Luckily our political, social and public mindset don't reward these officers' arrogant behavior, so they usually only stay in office or just make speeches at parties and inaugurations. We don't see them any other time.

Dude Civil Services exam is not sacrosanct, it is the most opaque exam in the history of exams, you don’t get your answer copies, not even the topper copies are released, no model answers released, even the cutoff is released 1 yr after the process, who’s checking your copy, which answer of yours is getting you less marks, so there’s no scope for improvement also
Sir I am from UP, Even I know one such case - Uncle of one my friends has used OBC-NCL certificate to get into IAS - and my friend is actually very rich, they have many plots, may shops, they even have apartments which they rent - they are basically very rich.

There are so many candidates who changed from general to OBC or EWS category and they got selection also...if we check properly, more than 500 officers in last 5-6 years will face termination.... It's very serious issue but I don't have hope on current government 😂😂

I am astonished to see an IAS Officer being published as corrupted. I have worked under about 25 IAS collectors. None of them was found to have corrupted hands. We're her first posting in west Bengal she would not have been worried. She could wash out her black hand.

I know an AIR 650~ person who was refused selection in civil services even after getting excellent marks. He scored 350+ in sociology optional which is very rare. His parents are retired from PSU so he was refused get OBC reservation. Now he is struggling to open his own coaching.

1. Release Prelims answer keys right after declaring Prelims result: Currently UPSC releases Prelims answer key 1 year after Prelims paper when aspirants have already left the preparation or they are preparing for the next attempt. Early release of answer key provides clarity with respect to what mistakes did the aspirant make and should he/she give next attempt. After Prelims results, UPSC should release Prelims answer keys and cut-off.
2. Cancelling of poorly framed questions in Prelims and not providing any explanation why xyz question was cancelled. It affects the cutoff. And aspirants get to know which questions dropped only in the next year.
3. 26:52 UPSC is a stubborn and opaque body who does not want to change for the better.

Has to file a case in supreme court and request for CBI probe for the one who cleared the UPSC since 2016 under this order 1) Disability 2) son/ daughter of Beaureucrats 3) EWS category from 2019. I believe Indian citizens will be surprised to know there are many pooja khedkars out there. Finally There should be reforms in UPSC mode of selection otherwise this will continue ever year.

Bad performance of previous governments does not excuse bad performance of current government. Current government is more focused on creating unnecessary jumla. One day they will make our country name a debate when it is already equally India/Bharat, next they will make language issue, another day they will keep shouting UCC without even providing a draft document till now to inform public about details about the UCC so we can debate, and they will say constitution needs to be changed without out going into details on what they intend to change. They have no intention to reform education, land laws, labour laws, anti-corruption laws etc. which are most urgent needs in our country. Unemployment, overburdening financial policies for middle and low income of our society, corruption, Scams (NEET UPSC Electoral Bond etc.), infrastructure quality issues, pollution issues, judicial backlogs, inefficient bureaucracy are not being addressed at all.

I am damn sure about falws in selection process because every year most selected candidates belongs to particular geographic region of India which is happened to have least literacy rate. How is that possible? There are states with best quality education but least number of selections.

In my state there is no craze for UPSC because people have other aspirations and find other ways of contributing to our society. These UPSC officers from terribly performing states coming to work in our state are never able to understand the local conditions and mindset and they are terrible at administration or drafting policies relevant to our state. I always wonder how these people cleared UPSC from their words and actions. And these people are sometimes in charge of whole districts😂. Luckily our political, social and public mindset don't reward these officers' arrogant behavior, so they usually only stay in office or just make speeches at parties and inaugurations. We don't see them any other time.

Dude Civil Services exam is not sacrosanct, it is the most opaque exam in the history of exams, you don’t get your answer copies, not even the topper copies are released, no model answers released, even the cutoff is released 1 yr after the process, who’s checking your copy, which answer of yours is getting you less marks, so there’s no scope for improvement also

पुराणे कहावतों से प्रेरित नयी प्रणाली प्रचलित हुई हैं... मंत्री की औलादही मंत्री बनेगी, सरकारी नौकर की औलादही सरकारी अफसर बनेगी। क्योंकि सब कुछ Set or Settled होता हैं। एस कार्य में सब आपस में एक दूसरे के सहयोगी बनजाते हैं। एक परिवार एकही सरकारी नौकर.. सब लोगोंको परिवारोंको मौका मिलना चाहिए, एकही घर मैं ३/४ मंत्री अथा सरकारी नौकरी कितना देश को लूटेंगे...? कस कर ढूंढेंगे तो atleast 25% ऑफिसर ऐसे ही मिलेंगे।
There are so many candidates who changed from general to OBC or EWS category and they got selection also...if we check properly, more than 500 officers in last 5-6 years will face termination.... It's very serious issue but I don't have hope on current government 😂😂

I am astonished to see an IAS Officer being published as corrupted. I have worked under about 25 IAS collectors. None of them was found to have corrupted hands. We're her first posting in west Bengal she would not have been worried. She could wash out her black hand.
