I will create the details of the door opening step and the side sill area. Then, I will move on to the cockpit and do a bit of work there.

ペーパーのバックアップ材、スチレンボードも良いのですが、お薦めは「カルプ材」です。
厚さは10㎜、14㎜、19㎜、24㎜、30㎜、50㎜とあり、柔軟性に富む上、反発力もあるためペーパー掛けに重宝しています。
主に看板屋さんが使われる材料ですが、問い合わせてみれば端材をわけてくれると思いますよ。
カルプ材は知りませんでしたが、100円でたくさん作れるのでしばらくこれでいいかな…
無くなったらまた考えます。

スタイロフォームはジオラマやビネットの基礎工事によく使いますが、成程…ペーパーの当て木としても利用価値がありますね。
サイドシルやトランク周りの処理って、日本車が結構丁寧に仕上げられていて、欧州車とか比較的いい加減にコーキングされていたりするんですよね。😅
まあ、仕事に対する姿勢というか、職人気質的な問題なのでしょうが、これをまた模型で再現しようとすると下手ウマな技術が必要になってくるという訳わからんことになるんですよー。
まぁ、Kenjiさんなら難なくこなしてしまうのでしょうが。😅
しかし…コンソール周りスイッチだらけのクルマですね。ラリー車だから仕方ないのかもしれませんが…

このへんの造形は複雑なので結構適当にしています。それらしければ、まあいいかと。
（実際ドア開けたときにしか見えないし）
ストリップゴムとかも省略するので、それほどこだわっていません。
確かに外国車はゴムとかも適当なのがありますね😂
コンソールはスイッチだらけなのがカッコいいのですが、トグルスイッチは突起が危なくないのかなとか心配になります。

カメラは変えてないですが作業により違うところにピントが合いやすかったり。
ちょっと設定を見直してみます
大型カッターの刃は、テフロンコーティングされてるOLFAのスピードブレードがお勧めですよ。
