I misread the “leg muncher” at first thinking instead that it said “leg mulcher” and now I can’t call it anything else. Turning people’s legs into mulch just sounds too good to go back to calling it anything else 😂
I'd love to see a doc on the "use whatever you have" player group. Scav sks with 2 durability? Gives me more practice clearing jams! Rear signt on my mosin? Smearsight morelike it
Went to factory not even an hour ago to get blasted in my zabralo for the task. tier 6 armor, tier 4 helmet with tier 6 facemask, first guy I run into separates my soul and my kneecaps from my mortal coil with a kedr full of sp7.
Should've expected it honestly.

My strategy for that task is to insure the armor and run to an area that has a sniper in the edge of the map. Those snipers always shot your thorax and the armor is protected so no one can pick it up after you die.
Because leg munchers aim for unarmored areas it also provides the evolutionary benefit of preserving armor quality on defeated opponents.
The big shotgun revolver known as the M40GL is probably the scariest thing to try and fight close up. with a potential damage out put in the high tens of thousands in the first half second of a fight.
Battlefield bad company 2, I'd run around with the underbarrel shotgun. 12 tungsten darts, could headshot at 60m and get called h4x. Didn't know tarky had a similar beast
you forgot some of the main spots of the leg muncher. When the extract campers, and leg muncher breed, it creates a specimen that favores the MP5, and camps D2.

@@troopertrampstamp I was camping d2 with rip, it was pretty slow, so wer just extracted, and my buddys wanted to get shot in the legs, so I shot them twice in each leg, lmfao

Superformamce in D2 is a classic, cheap 12g round to kill the Chad animal in 2 hits, and if you get killed, don't lose much

Munching toes are really fun because it’s pretty funny to see people ragdoll after shooting them in the toe.
i feel like the mightyest of leg-predators is left out here, the rip-slug sniper shotgun, that will make your body seize any functionality after a singular hit, and end it with the second after letting you suffer some

reminds me of one of my favorite things to do when I was low level late in a wipe, take the VPO with .366 EKO ammo and shoot PMCs in the legs on woods. sometimes if I was sneaky enough I would follow them around to make sure they didn't fix their legs.

One of my fondest memories of tarkov was when litterally all of customs came to construction. I was there first, trying to tarkov shooter pt1 with my vpo from second floor. Seems it was the dinner bell as solo, duos, a threeman, and a fourman rocked up, fighting eachother bellow me. No one seemed to spot me up on the second floor, brrrrrrting with my silanced kedr and subsonic ammo. Not while shotguns, ak74, and a mutant were in play. That or no one could hear me because of audio.
Was so skuffed. Killed 5 PMCs, and many died to eachother. I was the third last to die as I jumped off my perch, blacking both my legs infront of a flachett mp155. My poor press armor was deleted and back to lobby I went. It was between the mp155 and a ak74. Was a fun skuffed fight where the whole lobby just hoofed it to gunfire.
Remember kids, If you can't get a head shot there's always there kneecaps

you forgot to mention 12 gauge RIP rounds, 2 hits in 1 leg will kill a full hp pmc, 1 hit in each leg will leave them with 7 hp and most likely a heavy or light bleed, or both

other benefits to leg munching:
you dont absolutely destroy enemy armor, get some nearly pristine armor without the need for repair
damage ammo is dirt cheap since everyone wants ap ammo
IMHO, both vectors are also good for legshots because they have no vertical recoil and high horizontal recoil, which helps, because if you aim below the center mass, horizontal recoil will wiggle from one leg to another, making legshots easier. Also, p90 with r37.f ammo (98 dmg) is a great combo of low recoil and high damage.
I should've mentioned this in the video but vector users aren't common because the whole name of the game for leg meta is "cheap and really damn effective."
@Leviticus there were some cases when i could spend a lot of money for a gear, but couldn't get good ammo due to my bad inventory management, and I just don't want to wait 3 hours to by good ammo. So I could wear like 5 class armor + ulach and just go for legs with high damage ammo. And not gonna lie, it's so satisfying to kill someone with no stomach protection. But still, you kinda want to go for legs because in a fight it's hard to tell what your opponent is wearing.

Great vid, you left out the R37.X/R37.F P90 munchers tho. The high fire rate of the MP9 with 50 round mags and little to no recoil. It's over for the chads

I keep trying to talk streamers into running an UMP with leg meta rounds. Its low rate of fire makes it a poor choice for toe munching, but it makes up for it with small magazine capacity 😀
With RIP and Hydrashock, you don't need much in the way of fire rate or magazine capacity. RIP is 130 damage per round, HydraShok is 100.

Most of the time they would instantly spot me no matter how dark and unexpected the position is and head-eye me with first shot.
And most of these clips are comprised of players who are either playing without audio or just without overall awareness. How many times did you die to film those?
The video is cool, though. I'm just jealous that 90% of my encounters are with ultimate chads. It is so unusual to see a normal human being play the game
