the mechanic it's rotating the pistons until they are perfectly align, and then he locks the camshaft to position, if not you can end by crushing the valves into the pistons. This is the procedure you have to do before you install a new timing belt ;) BTW: You don't need this tools to change a timing belt in a punto mk2 16v, there is always a way to do that without the specific tools. :)
