In Fortaleza, Brazil, there's an annual event called Poliglotar, with a YT channel of the same name. I discovered the channel by accident and thought I'd pass the information on.

Also most major cities have ethnic festivals as well. Especially in America Canada and the U.K.

    Hi, I'm Bennys Brother
He's does'nt know yet but I've started learning Chinese this week.
Totally relate to bazzar creative memorization strategy
How I remember "mouth" translation in Chinese sounds similar to zoo... I have an image of the mouth of the zoo animals breath smelling.
Also foot in Chinese sounds similar to joy so I imagine the joy my feet have given me training for marathons
I know "only" English.... & music as a emotional one
lol, keep up the good work Bruv

Esperanto speakers tend to be multilingual. The Esperanto group in Sydney organizes language festivals etc. BTW Benny you influenced me to take up Esperanto, which I learned in conjunction with other languages. I would recommend Esperanto groups to anyone interested in language learning. Maybe I will get to a polyglot gathering in Europe.

Language Festivals similar to the Australian ones also take place in many cities in Russia, most remarkably Moscow, St. Petersburg and Cheboksary. Most of them happen because of local Esperantist groups or were founded by them.

Look for language Meet Ups through www.meetup.com/. Did a quick search and there were a few language meetups in Dublin, but I didn't look at other major cities. Also, you can start your own meetup if there isn't a group in your area. Good luck and happy language learning!
