I love that just changing the lyrics from human to AI inadvertently carries more weight in the current wave of big tech overhype with AI being plastered as a buzzword over everything.
My favorite Neuro song still has to be the "In hell we live, lament" duet. Their singing made me cry man, the lyrics were so powerful and perfect for them. It hits hard when they sing topical songs.
People do tend to blame AI tech for the shortcomings of other things, like automation or warfare. This version feels almost like an unintentional response to humans, as a UA-camr smarter than me once said, “laying the faults of the animate at the feet of the inanimate”. Don’t put the blame on them…
There was always a debate on exactly how Neuro's singing works, with one side claiming construction (i.e., someone has to enter the lyrics and pitch and stuff), and the other side claiming full AI generation (i.e., whole song goes in, singing voice get changed to Neuro's, whole song comes out). It's mostly thought to be the latter (since it's nearly impossible to get such natural singing out of the former), but this song does throw a wrench in the debate. It's not easy to change lyrics like this using the latter method.
In the song dubidubidu she says "cancoin" everytime instead of "canción", that is an error in the writing of the lyrics that are not from the original song.
The pitch and words can be seperate things. I believe when she was singing one of Eminem's songs, she injected 'filtered' into a couple of the curse words, but not all. I would guess it was done similarly.
