STEPS:
1. 3/4 inch bristle brush - Paint base coat for canvas with blue, black, white
2. 3/4 inch bristle brush - Finish water and coral on ground with ocean blue (made in step 1), white, green, black
3. Chalk - Draw outline for fish and seahorse
4. #6 round brush - Paint base coat for fish and seahorse with brown, yellow, white
5. #6 bright brush - Paint seaweed with black, green, white, ocean blue, gold (made in step 4)
6. #2 round brush - Paint faces with black, white, orange, yellow, gold, brown, tan (made in step 4)
7. #6 round brush - Finish fish with black, white, orange, yellow, tan
8. #6 bright brush - Finish body of seahorse with gold, brown, tan, white, yellow, orange
9. #2 round brush - Paint tentacles of seahorse with green, yellow, gold, white, ocean blue

Hey 🐠bestie. Omg this is so detailed. Do you google what these subjects look like up close? How do you get such clear detailing!!! And the eye!! Even though its just one eye you did a great job. BB! I would love to have a tropical themed kitchen and make some Caribbean inspired dishes! It all starts with a painting like this to hang up! I do use Google, but believe it or not, a lot of my work is based upon photos that I take. I am crazy with the camera when travelling. Don't know how the hubby puts up with it. I took a ton of photos at the Tampa aquarium a while back that I used as a guide for this one, plus a little inspiration from Finding Nemo. MTP outta here! Love saying that now...

I am wondering about the fluorescent colors. I've tried several fluorescent paints from different brands and I can't ever seem to get a color that even shows up. They are usually so transparent I say they look like tinted water (haha). Am I missing something or is that normal?
