Thanks for making these videos. I'm in the process of designing a 10x6 camper and your videos have really helped give me some ideas and insight on the process. I see you're into RC as well, I've been in the hobby about 7 years now, it's good stuff!
Jerry Boynton III Hey thanks so much! Yep, I’m an RC addict too!
I just came upon your build videos, Great ! Thanks so much
You bet! I’m glad you found us!
Great build! I can’t find where you put the roof trim on.
Thank you! I think I only showed putting it around the edge of the galley, but its the same trim. I kind of got in a hurry towards the end. Lol!
How thick is the sheeting you use? I'm finishing my own project and want to skin ot as well. Thanks.
I used 0.040” pre-painted aluminum sheet from a local sign shop.
I appreciate your videos and all of your fancy tools Mike, but there is a way to cut the metal that’s a little bit different. I traced my profile using my template and then I used a utility knife to (score) the sheets 2-3 times. After that, bend the sheet a couple of times and it breaks off.
I’ve never heard of that. It certainly would be cheaper.
Where did you purchase your aluminum skin? Having a heck of a time finding the right stuff.
Any information is appreciated. Thanks.
Greg Farley I bought it from a local sign shop in Crossville, TN called Outlaw Graphics. Most sign shops either carry it or can order it within a few days. This was Wrisco brand aluminum.

Thanks so very much for getting back so quickly and thank you for the information.
Happy Easter to you and your family.
Greg Farley Happy Easter!
Man I just finished one teardrop camper and it would have been nice to have your videos to refer to, I did post videos of the build on you tube but yours are great. I am starting a second build of a 6x8 and look forward to every nail-check out my video, I will use some of your superior knowledge. Are you in Texas- as I see an ac unit and heat in your garage. Nail on my friend
M Langford Hey, thanks so much! I’m in muggy East Tennessee. I saw your video. Your side vent covers are great! Very clever!!
Where did you buy the aluminum for the skin?
Loren Smith A local sign shop ordered it for me. It’s made by Wrisco. They distribute to a pretty large area.
Hey Loren. David here. I Purchased my 060 4 x 10 aluminum PVC coated sheets from my local metal supplier. They had them on the shelf ready to go, they use them to repair big rig trailers. So “ I’ll take 4 sheets please “... yup, they thought I was crazy 😜
So where's part 4?

Do you have any footage of putting the trim on the sides, besides the galley?
Yep, sure do. Check out my Teardrop Build Playlist
