  • I had a great opportunity to teach aspiring chefs, through C.A.S.T, a local community organization that offered a seven week restaurant hospitality course for high school seniors. In spice class 101, my lecture was on herbs and spices, what herbs to use and when to use them. The best tasting grilled chicken cutlet won a $100 gift card to my restaurant, The Hellenic Snack Bar.

I've never heard of the radiation thing with Clostridium perfrigens thats nuts! Do you have anywhere I could read more about that?

Google irradiated food for the radiation informs and about bacteria and toxins I learned it all every three years at a food managers course through my county’s department of health. Cheers.

What you think is funny only some people will think is funny as well. The others, like me, will think your intro is a terrible waste of time. Saying older people are blocked from creativity is straight up not true. These two things compelled me to think that you're not a very good teacher so I stoped the video. You may think this is negative but it only is if you take it that way. It's constructive and I hope you take it that way.

I always like to eat the meat and spit out the bones, I do not see you’re comment as negative. Humor is subjective. It is for this reason that most funny movies get low ratings. I don’t recall saying in the video that older people are blocked from creativity. But , now that you mention it, the older you get the more set you are in your ways and less adaptable to changing, which can be construed as a lack of creativity. This was an older video and I am still experimenting with creating a following. Sorry you tuned out. I feel that you would have learned something different if you stuck with it. As you mentioned, delivery is everything. Reread your post. Chances are if iyou think it may have come off as negative, you may want to have changed the delivery. All the best!

@@AwareHouseChef We will have to agree to disagree then. Age has nothing to do with adaptability. People love to throw around sayings like "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" and the like but it isn't true. "Set in your ways" is another. neuroplasticity has no age limits. It's not my opinion. It is a fact. I didn't think my comment was negative I just feared it would be taken that way. Hope you have a great day!
