Your videos and attitude/enthusiasm for working on cars have kept me in the trade. I've gotten some serious burn out as a tech over the past couple of years (due to working situations/environments). On my worst days I can put on one of your videos, or one of your videos w. Danny, and it reminds me that I started doing this stuff because it can be really fun and interesting and I can still learn cool things every day. so, uh, thanks!
Oh my goodness 🙏🏻😭 THANK YOU for letting me know - this means everything to me! All the negativity associated with putting yourself out there on the internet just dissipates when I read stuff like this. I can't tell you how happy this makes me! And I also definitely feel you -- poor management and negative people can kill a workplace vibe for SURE. It can definitely be tough to remember why you started. 🙏🏻
Faye is so great. An awesome role model for anyone. I love how car culture for the most part has historically embraced those who could wrench even if they might be unique or different from the main. "If the clutch don't care ... why should I?"
Hey Faye, that turned out awesome I’m so glad you’re able to take your time with this build I don’t think anything was ever done better because you hurried it. Most all the repairs I’ve done have been more or less under the gun but the ones that I enjoy the most were the ones I was able to take my time with without a doubt have a good one as always🐔🐔🐔👍
Thank you, John!! And you're so right. I rushed through my first build of this engine and when I was done there were so many things that I wish I had done differently (mostly because I didn't have the $$$) and now this is my opportunity to do it once and do it right!!!
That Tool is AWESOME!! LOL I always look like im checking my blood sugar after making AN lines too!LOL! I love the special guest apperance of the Hanley Hens! Too funny. Your feather Babies look so healthy and happy
Okay, where do I get that fitting? Seriously, i need 4 of them. Always get a chuckle when people say “did you know chickens love _______.” Because so far, I haven’t found anything chickens don’t love. Especially washers. I had this hen, a Rhode island Red… that would sneak into the shop, sneak up behind me, and steal the first washer she could get her grubby little beak on, than run like hell! Fortunately none of them were small enough for her to ingest.
Hey Faye where is your shop located do you have shop of your own ,i have an 1987 mk3 that of course needs the head gasket replaced a d would like to shim the oil pump car has only 35,000 miles would love for you to work on it
Guess what i found out.. Ratcheting Branch loppers (for thick tree branches and shrubs) cut stainless steel hose perfectly :) Thats my secret..just dont tell the owner of them haha.
Wow! What a difference in quality vs what I once bought. Did you weld the bung to the pan, or does it thread together with an O-ring without any leaks? Should have done a side-by-side compression with one of those cheap $50 dollar kits off Amazon. No tools or directions. So, I just found some old dirty hoses and fittings we had laying around, probably old WW2 surplus So ended up donating the Amazon kit to my lil brother's Mercury Comet. He likes that cheap and tacky shit, think he used it to mount his $12 dollar chrome catch can off Alibaba. That China red and blue anodized fittings even matches his Harbor Freight tool collection. lol
If you're going to tell me that I have people making fake accounts of me, please just report them. That's all I can do too. There are new ones every week and I get easily 10-20 messages a week telling me about them. I can't keep up and don't have the time for them all. Just report them.
I don't know which was more interesting, the oil line or the chickens getting grapes.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks awesome, nice work!! We feed tons of scraps and leftovers to the chickens!!

Lol, glad I stuck for the chickens ! My in-laws have them. Farm fresh eggs are the best !! 🤘🏼
Motors coming along nicely.
Love your clever end credits and always watch the chickens at the end 🤣

Faye, that engine is getting sorted nicely.

"If the clutch don't care ... why should I?"
Wow, I'm impressed with how you've gotten that engine cleaned up. That's a really pretty engine you have there.
Thank you so much!!!
It’s great to see a proper turbo install. Should perform well. Still love the chickens.

Very cool tool. I won't miss the multiple pin pricks in fingers. Great video. I expect.nothing else but information and fun. Thank you!!
Great video, Faye. Your engine build is looking totally awesome. Thanks for the education about chickens and grapes. Who knew? Keep up the great work.
You made that look simple, especially with the Koul tool. Looks very clean!!
Another awesome video with class you’re awesome Faye I can’t wait to see you next video thank you
🙂🙂🙂
It's so cute how The Ladies lunge at the grape and take it to a secure location to enjoy it in peace.
Aren't they precious?!?!!
That motor is looking awesome! Cant wait to see/hear it run. 👍
Thank you!
Awesome Faye, you do very nice work and inspire me to as well !
Looking good, Faye, u totally agree with the wire making pin cushion out of your fingertips. Have a great week ✌️
I really like the hose tool. Also, I just watched Motor Mythbusters, and how awesome are you. Mark me down as a fan for life. Keep up the great work.
Totally sanitary oil return - looks perfect. Thanks Faye. Chickens love grapes? I'll have to give it a shot. :>)

Oh man those ladies freaked over those grapes!!! 🍷
That is pretty cool Faye it is amazing to see that we can mod these kinds of things very nice
Nice turbo and pulley colours, engine will look like jewelry when it's done.
Koul stuff faye! Thanks for sharing!
Rock on Faye, luv your videos!
Thank you!
very cool Faye
4:24 There is a distinct lack of purple powder coat on Faye's engine accessories but at least she uses purple shop rags
Hello Faye awesome video and that is a amazing tool to use for making your oil drain line Wishing you well Take Care
Love your videos Faye!
Thank you!!!
I just saw this and it’s awesome! Very informative video! Looks those Cool Tools👍👍👍
Thanks Danny!!!! 😀👍🏻
I have learned alot from you thanks ma'am are there anymore motor myth busters in your future the show is AWSOME 👍👍
Very cool I was not aware of that tool. Worth having! Hey my chickens would fight over watermelon! Your birds eat watermelon? 👍😎
Boy, the hens really went after those grapes!
They love them so much!!
@@FayeHadleyit’s GOT to be a lot of time and work doing the tv show but I’m sure the exposure will serve you well.
More grapes for the hens!!
I need me one of those. I do AN fittings using the old school methods Yes you are right those damn prickly things
Definitely should make more vids like this. Two in one 🥰🥰. I dig it! lol. And chickens are awesome!
Thanks, Faye!
FAYE! you are a dream...just looking for your next video!
So, deburring and sealing the braid on the line isn't required? Also, what breed of chickens are those?
Thanks Faye
thats a bad ass fitting engine looking sharp faye and of course chickens 🐔
I think so highly of you dear.
Can't wait to see it finished. What kind of power are you shooting for?
Honestly, reliability is more important to me!! But I'm hoping for 400-450hp-ish!! That's enough for me to handle 😅
@@FayeHadley I totally get you on that one a reliable 400 is way more fun than an unstable 700! Keep up the good work with the build though girl!
Good job young lady
Curiosidade legal, bom trabalho ! Brasil te ama 🇧🇷
Great video. Also, is that a new bottom lip piercing?
Yes😅 so still a little swollen!!!
I think you can muse a belt sander to remove the burs off the hose after you cut it!!
😏Turbo reclaim fittings
☝️🤟👽🔧
Very kool tool
Okay, where do I get that fitting? Seriously, i need 4 of them.

Too easy! Nothing better than the right tool.
Is the purpose of the tool to avoid scratching or deforming the fitting like you might get by placing it in the vice with just tape to protect it?
Makes it much easier to install, without damaging your fingers and also provides a nice funnel to keep all of those cut ends in line!!
@@FayeHadleyNow I get it. Fascinating.
Do you use teflon when you are attaching the hoses for the turbo?
Hey Faye where is your shop located do you have shop of your own ,i have an 1987 mk3 that of course needs the head gasket replaced a d would like to shim the oil pump car has only 35,000 miles would love for you to work on it

Yes we know who modified the oil pan.🤣 I hate dealing with stainless braided lines of any kind.😡
spring washers not compressed on turbo exhaust flange... looks loose..
Yes, at the end of the video I mention how everything is still loose because I'm still in the fabbing/planning stage!
@@FayeHadley my bad!!
One question: Does Faye have more piercings or certifications?? (Ima big fan fyi)
Trick question. She gets a piercing for each certification!
@@Radiohead801 OF COURSE! I should have known.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣 Actually I didn't realize but counting both I'm one for one 🤣🤣🤣 WEIRD!!!!!!
It seems to be that , my budgies don't like fruits 🙂

That turbo nut is loose
So well done, plus... You're cute! 🥰
Faye is the perfect woman. Don't bother challenging that statement. You'd be wrong
Hey....you need to stop...
Stop being awesome.....lol.
Sorry. That was really 🌽
