A knight framed for a tragic crime teams with a scrappy, shape-shifting teen to prove his innocence. But what if she's the monster he's sworn to destroy?
This is the most wholesome and wonderful scene, Nimona not only found a real boss but also a real friend
And a found family.

That "I see you" is so powerful...
It is not only about actually "seeing", but most about showing that, at this moment, he can trully understand her, her feelings and the pain she is going through!
He is letting her know she is no longer alone.

Bal held her so close and so gently, the love and care these two hold for each other is so sweet😭
I know I’m crying❤
He realised the pain he'd caused her, even without knowing why it cut her utterly to the core, a seeming betrayal by someone she'd fully opened up to for the first time in 1000 years, and sought to make it right - showing he was truly the best of the Knight candidates.
@@MLaak86 she didn't open up to him,she only assumed he'd trust her because they're friends, that's what caused the whole thing in the first place .
Honestly it’s so sweet and wholesome the way he held her . Just shows their bond
The way they staged the hug. Cradling somoenes head to your chest is this tender thing you do with a loved one whose going through it or a child. Evrrything about this was sp perfectly and tenderly framed. Very delivate and comforting like their emotions

I absolutely love this movie, it sends a really good message with great main characters bonding together. Way better than anything Disney has put out in the last few years imo
it really is. which only makes it more ironic that disney was gonna originally release this movie but instead decided to not only cancel the movie but also shut down the original studio who made it, blue sky studios, all because of that one scene where bal and goldenloin kiss. thankfully annupurna jumped in to finish the animation and netflix was willing to publish. disney had no problems with them being gay, but oh no visible gay kissing!?!?! nononono cant have that.
@@jankycc Brooooo fr? Wtf Disney. Either way, I'm glad this movie came out cause I didn't even know it existed until I saw it on Netflix the other day
@@Mysticleo42 finding out about Disney shutting down blue sky studios was how I found out the movie existed, had to watch it as soon as I got home

@noodle1228 "you know what we should do?"
"What?"
"Ten out of one hundred and ninety five countries ban gay kissing, so we should just cancel the entire movie"
"Where's the logic in that?"
"There isn't any, which is why we're doing it, like how we aren't having dwarven actors in the new snow white movie"
The way she started to waddle to him shows that she really cares about him ❤ omg thanks for the likes guys
Shows ho long she had to put on a strong image. She finally allowed herself to be weak and vulnerable in front of millions who just moments ago tried to kill her.

Falling over counts as "waddling" now?
I love Ballister's arc throughout this movie, he went from being repulsed by Nimona's shapeshifting abilities, calling her a monster, to saying "it would be easier if you're a girl, a lot of people aren't as accepting as me," to finally "I see you Nimona, and you're not alone." Beautiful.
The absolute gut-wrenching, heart breaking shriek of lonely anguish she did right before he stopped her from killing herself had me Sobbing. I've never been depressed or suicidal before (thank god) but the pure emotion that that voice actor put into that one scene makes me want to hug her just to make sure she's OK. 😅
Oui vraiment 😢❤
I love the hug. Nimona just wobbles to him crying like a hurt child and Bal imediatly catches her and pulls her into a warm hug he holds her up and cradles her head giving her what she needed, somone to care.
Now I understand why Netflix added that suicide hotline number at the end of the movie
They DID?
What?
Bro, she looks 15, but is actually old as hell. She has suicidal thoughts, she changes herself to fit in, she has a high pain tolerance. She’s autistic. I relate to Nimona so much. The anger, the masking, the hyper personality. The age gap between my mental age and my chronological age. It’s so hard being autistic.
And it doesn't look forced, her personality seems so natural. Fav movie ever, no doubt
@@LordBrainz yeah, unlike other autistic coded characters, Nimona is authentic. It’s either autistic coded by accident for giggles like Tina from Bob’s Burgers, or it’s straight up mocking us, like in The Good Doctor or Music the Musical. God, I hate sia.
The way he hugged her so softly and gentle, he cares so much for her
This scene makes me cry every time 😭

All the filming companies and Hasbro and Hasbro Studios must say sorry (apologize) for betraying and ripping off so many supporters and fans and actors and writers. And for treating them so badly.
ok
And Disney for getting rid of Blue Sky
What did Hasbro have to do with this film?
They don't own nimona.
What is it they’ve done that constitutes “poor treatment?”
@@hobomike6935 underpaying and don’t for what happened to Judy Garland and Shirley Temple and also what happened to many woman because of Harvey Weinstein and most likely his brother.
Very touching moment I will always cry to. She wasn’t there to hurt anybody, she was there to end it all while the entire city watched because the thousand years of discrimination she had endured. The feeling of someone finally caring for you the way you yearned for your whole life makes this scene entirely more heartbreaking
Wish there was happy endings and not just continuations, in the real world
But at least the characters in movies can be happy
"I see you Nimona" the words she has been wanting to hear for a long time.
"I see you, and you're not alone" Hits harder than if they used an "i love u". It's just what any person needs/wants to hear from their family and friends.. that you don't have to be anybody else, that you're seen and accepted, and they are here for you. ♥️🌈 That's all Nimona wanted to hear her entire life. What a masterpiece this movie was
It's like a father and daughter relationship, I absolutely love it
It’s wild how she was literally about to impale herself 😭☠️
well...yeah, that was the point, she was very much trying to kill herself
do you not understand the seriousness of suicidal issues?

Yeah that scene got surprisingly dark compared to the rest of the movie. I like when movies can take themselves seriously.
Uhhhmmm TV series please. It was so good I was crying when I realised it was a movie 1 hour in. I need MORE.
Let it just be a one of a kind perfection.
A TV series adaptation is always worse than the film because of lower budgets and poor writing.

saying “i see you” is such an endearing saying in tv and movies today. i’m enjoying hearing it because it makes me feel good
The scream just before this breaks me every time. I swear it’s like it’s being torn out of a part of me that I can’t access anymore

Makes me cry somethin fierce.
I hope there is a sequel, this was bomb.
Me too, it would be funny and kinda sad if Ballister introduces Ambrosius to Nimona then maybe at a dinner scene Ambrosius is like "So i'm a descendant of Gloreth..." and Nimona's like: (Scratches plate)...Excuse me? And then she tries to attack Ambrosius and she runs off to her room then Ballister comes in and is like what's wrong? why did you attack my Boyfriend? Then Nimona would explain her past and Nimona would explain her past and Ballister would try to convince her that Ambrosius isn't like Gloreth and tells her to give him a chance and apologise to him and...I'm sure you can fill in the blanks...
This scene hits, you can truly feel the characters bond and feel each other's feelings
I’m gonna cry, brb.
Bro same 😭
I'm not supposed to show harsh emotions around my friends but I couldn't hold back on this scene
Might want to get new friends. Emotions harsh or other are natural and you shouldn’t be ashamed to let a powerful scene in a movie hit you hard in the feels. Movies do that. There’s nothing wrong with it.
Fuck society man, your human, you can feel emotions.
unless your emotions make you attack other people, get better friends.
A genuine im sorry is really powerful 😢
The Most Beautiful and Wonderful Scene ❤😊
this scence alone made me cry liike a baby because that was all Nimona needed to heard since the beginning.
"I'm not broken... and I'm not alone"

the " i see you " is so strong and powerful for them. they have seen and felt eachothers suffering. things they didnt know they could feel from where they were. nimona felt love for once. and he felt fear shame and had to run and have people afraid of him like she did. in eachother they felt understanding and familiarity. they gave eachother what they needed.
I read the book before the movie and I'll always love these two Bal being nimona's father figure is the cutest thing I've seen in a book in a while, it's such a sweet and emotional story

This is so heartwarming I love that Ballister apologizes to Nimona and then comforts her
I cried so hard on this moment😭
And "you're not alone" was so personal to me...
it is too all this movie promote differences meaning no one should judge people to be something their not like nimona she spent 1000 years of ridicul being called a monster with someone she loved calling her a monster and lost all love for nimona thanks to people's reactions to her differentiability (making a whole new word it means an ability thats special to the person it also means something unique that only they have and with no possible way to change it) nimona decided it was best to be dead then listen to ridicule but thanks to ballister she found someone that loves her back this entire movie HITS at a personal level as i say not all monsters are monsters some are born that way some are forced that way we may be born monsters but we can choose how it goes we can choose if we are going to be good then bad monsters personaly i feel more connected wwith a true monster but the point is the movie hits on a difference personal level it was included to be relatable as about 60% of the world is different
He taught her that suicide is never a good option.❤
He’s like a dad to her 🥹
Looking past the monster the world saw, and finding the person within.
That’s her dad, your honor
OH MY GOD. Nimona really was Nate talking about being trans!!
“Why can’t you just be… girl you?”
“I see you. And you’re not alone.”
“When I don’t shift, I feel sort of itchy under my skin.”
I don’t know why I only just saw it now lol. I’d known it before, but this bit clicked it into place for me. brain work funky
I would literally so recommend this movie it’s so good and I cried at some parts 😅

This truly has to be one of the most impactful and emotional scenes in all of cinema iv ever seen. I can not describe how familiar nimonas situation is and the pain she feels. I cried so much the first time I saw this watching the movie a few weeks back. You have no idea how much it means to be seen like this.
This scene makes me cry everytime 😭🫶🏻 it's so wholesome and emotional
Sometimes they forget that even tho she lived thousands of years ago she still a kid
Love this!! They have such a beautiful Father/Daughter relationship like ugh, go hug your DAD

I’ve seen some heavy movies man, but this one was the only movie I’ve ever cried over
This part hit me hard!!💔😭
Their dynamic was like a father daughter relationship and i was LIVING for it, this scene made me cry so much like, god damn this movie is good.
They had the cutest sister/brother relationship
Also an interesting detail of when Nimona goes to stab herself was that she doesn't stop wailing in pain until she feels Ballister's robotic arm touching her heart and it takes her a while to look down and see Bal
She was a fairy ✨(I love this film)
Sometimes to be someone's hero it just takes one hug
She's like his daughter 🥺 I love how she basically got two cool dads after this
I WISH I HAD THIS KIND OF FATHERLY FIGURE!! 😭
as a trans person, this movie and this scene particularly hit real hard.
Also trans csn confirm
This was probably one of the very best Netflix original movies I have ever seen I really hope we get a sequel someday
This scene got me so happy for nimona that she met him
Be sure your friends are okay. Throughout the movie, Nimona was happy and carefree, but still attempts suicide. Be safe and you are not alone, even though it feels like. I’ve been suicidal and I know how you feel. You aren’t alone in this, and stay strong ❤️🩹

There are moments where everyone hates you, they think you are the worst and you believe it yourself, but always, ALWAYS, there will be someone who sees deeper into your heart, we must not give up.
It's so sad how she was willing to end her life because of humanity, and nobody cared until her only friend. This scene was so powerful and heartbreaking
Sometimes to solve conflict in our society, we must see each other for what we truly are and to apologize for each other's prejudices
But here’s the crazy thing: Ballister never learned what happened in Nimona’s past, only us (the audience) knew. All he knew was that he screwed up and so he apologized 🥹🥰✨
