The sequel was just Salva indulging his homosexuality in a standard slasher flick. As long as it's homosexuality and not pedophilia! Roman Polanski fled to a country that doesn’t extradite to the US. Can’t really blame the justice system on that one. You can blame people in Hollywood for continuing to work with him. Salva only got 3 years for his crimes and only severed 18 months which is a miscarriage of justice.

Nathan's attorney actually went behind the victim's family's back and agreed to a deal dropping most of the biggest charges.
