Another book that I have not heard about so thank you for sharing. I’m sure you’re missing the Half Price Books stores but I’m sure you’ll find something else in your new area where you live now.
I have a first edition (1936) of this book written by my father's professor of theology at Edinburgh. I am eager to purchase another first edition, as my Beagle has gnawed the bottom right cover. Should anyone know where I might find one, I should be most interested.
@@ThriftStoreBibles Thank you for your encouragement. John Baillie spent a considerable amount of time in the USA and Canada, so I would expect that copies of this ought to be found in American and Canadian bookshops. For the moment I have had no luck in Edinburgh or Glasgow, but editions from 1949 seem to be readily available. What I could do is have my first edition re-bound. However, continue to search.
I had that little book, but I think I gave it away. In fact I thought this was one that I might have sent out to you until you said you got it from the bookstore. 🎉🍳🥚
I am going to look for a copy of that one!
Thank you for showing it.
I'll keep an eye out for it when I'm at the thrift stores!
@@ThriftStoreBibles Thanks, Scott! I appreciate that.
Thank you for the review Scott. 👍
Thanks Mike!
The bookmark is as cool as the book!
It definitely makes me want to visit that bookstore! Though I admit I'm closer to being a philistine than a poet.

Fortunately we have lots of great thrift stores here to help make up for it!

It's hard to keep track of them all!
@@ThriftStoreBibles Yeah, my copy is probably still in my nightstand.
