Growing up in an environment where there’s not many positive role models to emulate, this channel has allowed me to elevate above my circumstances. Such amazing concepts and ideas. Thank you guys so much.
Wow, Chris. I was just stuck in the middle of a creative block. My gut was urging me to copy identity assets and then transform them later, instead of creating ones from scratch. But I didn't listen. So I took a break and then found out you uploaded a new video. I was kind of surprised with the synchronicity with the urge earlier and since this video is giving me the heads up, I'm going back to designing again.
Shu Ha Ri comes from the practice of Japanese sword. It translates to keep, break, leave. I use it all the time in my tech company. I teach apprentices to do it exactly the way I tell you at the beginning because you don't know any better.
CEO of the co I work (Large Japanese co.)for used 修 rather than 守, which means to learn and complete rather than protect. Because you know nothing you should copy from the master until you have mastered, and only then are you ready to consider alternate ways.
Thank you so much for this. I got so much validation and confirmation is this 8+ minutes. Based on my experience, the mindset plays a crucial role while learning something. People follow and really listen to those who them admire strong enough.
Wow man. You have just the best content. I'm extremely new to this but it feels like absorbing decades of experience and expertise. The insight is incredible.
i'm coming to realize, that it's not even necessarily about being lazy or avoiding hard work, I've noticed that people just want high efficiency, they want something they can put the least amount of effort and get the most out of, maybe it's because that is something the world is moving towards I'm not sure, just an observation. There's some truth to not wanting to do something you're told as well, but that's a much deeper problem i feel.
My skill has always been reverse engineering/copying. People would shot on me for being unoriginal. Thanks Chris. Glad that I was on the right track. I’m self taught from reverse engineering. Hell, from what I’ve read the great artists did that too.
Hi Chris, I am prior experience in only planning seasonal campaigns. However, I'm not well versed with designing or do freelancing but I want to open my own agency. So far, what I've noticed is that people in your pro group have prior skills in either graphic design, video production or any other artistic skill. Awaiting your kind response to my dilemma.
This whole video is based on Rory Sutherlands book called alchemy and he talks a lot about reframing. Rory did an episode with the dairy of a ceo recently where he mentioned reframing….someone is stealing content ;)))
This is genuinely fantastic and transparent content. Thank you TheFutur and Chris Do for your commitment and dedication to sharing your knowledge and expertise.
Wow, I'm really blown away with the massive information being delivered in the short video. This is going to be super helpful as I plan to learn new stuffs and develop myself personally. Thank you so much Chris Do for being an amazing teacher ❤❤❤
@@thefutur I actually loveeee learning (pay me to permanently do training/uni and I’d be happy 😆) … But implementing what I learn for my own business …. Eeeek 🙈🤦🏻♀️

Oh Consistency is needed. Something happens when players earn the trophy themselves
So first we need to unlearn what we think we already know

This is making me think of the call we had earlier as you were getting ready for your flight. 😅
Paying for something is easy. Actually following though is challenging.
