Made my day again, another video of beautiful work. No stupid reality tv here . Takes a long time and lots of work to build them like this. Nice bead roller and English wheel mate. I just have a cheap hand crank bead roller. Would love an English wheel but I don't build enough cars and already made the quarter panels for my old Australian built Chrysler wagon. That should see me me through , l will build a good mild 318 and sell the Ls1 Ute. Like they say ,can't beat a carburetor. Have a good weekend mate. Keep up the great work.
pretty impressive how you're able to take these materials and get them built back up again.. I cannot remember if you ever mentioned in your prior videos were you ever a body man?? sorry for the lame question I've watched all of your videos it's just been some time now.
That's a good question . I've played around with body work ever since I was a teen , but never worked for the body shop dept . I worked as a mechanic in the other department . Then in the last 25 years I've been renovating houses and building the shop and house where I am now. Thats why I was away from the Wagon for so long . I had a big Reno I was working on that took me along time to complete
yeah I remember you mentioned that you worked on homes.. I also do remember you mentioning that you worked in a shop on vehicles before back when you were troubleshooting the 1986 GMC S15 you had mentioned the above well I'm definitely goes to show if you put your mind to what you want to do and you do it for a long time you you will hold a high-level at the craft excellent work
I was trained as a mechanic prior to the ECM and got out of the trade in /86 just as they were changing over . So yah I'm old school and never liked working on computerized cars much other wise I would have fixed the S15 . The body and frame on that truck was too far gone so now its a parts truck . Has a good drive train that is going in another S10 but now I'm too busy on the Wagon !
