I've always liked Nils. Saw him as a solo artist in the 70's, listened to his work with Neil, massive Bruce Springsteen fan, and "Keith Don't Go' on his live acoustic album is an audiophile benchmark. What a lovely, lovely guy. Thank you.

Saw Nils live a few years back in a small theatre in Malvern, UK. Happy to meet and greet his fans afterwards, whether or not they’d bought his CD. Nice guy.

I met Nils & his brother Tommy back in his days with Grin in Maryland where he lived with his folks & brothers through the late 60s & 70s & had the chance to jam several times . Used to get my goodies from Earl & Pat who Nils would remember from Garret Park where they lived which was about 15 minutes from where i grew up in Rockville . Always the coolest guys both Nils & Tommy & so good they never needed to show any attitude as they could back it up any day of the week. Still love Grin & old Nils Rock n Roll & Grin were the top band in Washington DC & all of MD & VA. Great shows & true musical geniuses. So much great music over all these years yet the one track i still love the most was Grins See What Love Can Do , man that solo is still one of the best in Rock . To Nils we thank you for all the great old days memories . One one the best in the biz !!!

I get to know him here in Germany from famous Rockpalast. Have his double LP live. what a humble human being, nice chap, fabulous musician and songwriter. Very touching when they sang shine silently in Sweden for him - what a great moment.

I heard Cry Tough in 1976, I think it was on Radio Luxembourg, the late great Stewart Henry show ( medium wave 208 ) got the album, ordered from my local record store and I have been a life long fan ever since. Thank you Nils.

The song, “ I don’t want to know “ by Nils Lofgren is a great song in my opinion. It’s about a jealous teenager who doesn’t want to know about a pretty teenage girl.
