There is a definite problem with Dafang cam connecting to the cloud and causing the camera to time out. This is true of "international users" and now the server is sending out the message for users outside China to send in a complant" email with proof of purchase and the MAC address of their camera. I was able to log in initially for a few days, but presumably the server in CHina had sussed out that I was not in China and had block my MAC address. . Thereafter, I was not able to log in and started to receive the "complant" message whenever I tried. I am hoping that they will unblock my MAC address soon, but so far, after 3 days, nothing has yet changed. Otherwise, the only way, it seems, to make the camera useable, is to hack it, which I am reluctant to do.

I heard that only Dafang with MAC address starting with 78.xx.xx.xx.xx is affected.

I m Having the same issue since 3 weeks or so, not recommending this cam to friends anymore. Realibility this way is 0%
