Crazy to me to see 137 year old (lol) Allen Fisher out there and still being at least a small threat to the best guy in his weight class. His giant ass hands and forearm strength keep him viable even though you can tell the arm strength isn't what it used to be. Brzenk is the no brainer best, but I do think Fisher/Cobra/Ron Bath deserve a bit more recognition in the more casual circles at least.
Yea he is still kicking ass! And he doesn’t go all out during practice pulls so we didn’t see him full force there

I only remember the Overall was $500 per arm, and they ran Right and Left simultaneously so I recorded the Left Overall, end of video for left arms.

That’s Stepanyan, Davit of Armenia, he competes WAF 65kg /143lb left hand. He placed 3rd this year , he lost in semi finals to Yerdaulet . He placed 2nd in 2019 and
3rd in 2018 same class I believe. He lives in the US it seems but competes with Armenia.

im old now in my late fifties,i always like arm wrestling,i used to beat at the age of 45 young military people at around 25 with the mentality youre nothing etc,now when i wrestle i picture in my mind and concentrate my childhood the things i did on my uncles farm,running through long grass ,playing with my cousins and forget im there,all kind and positive stuff,i forget im arm wrestling,when i wake up my arm hasnt moved and take them down

11:33 the guy in the green shirt who "won" was jumping the gun the whole tournament. In this finals match, his opponent (guy with hat turned backwards) never even got to pull, he just got flashed twice because of early starts by green shirt guy.
I really wish Vazgen wouldve called these false starts and forced a real match to happen where both guys got to pull with all their strength, it wouldve been so entertaining watching them battle it out. Backwards hat guy was the most impressive throughout the tournament, would have been a helluva fight to watch!

But then again I'm sure they have sportsmen ship and let go when they feel they're breaking or dislocating someone's finger.

God daym there’s a huge difference between the Eastern European pullers and Americans. North America will never reach east Europe level of pulling besides the one exception John brzenk.
Many of the winners here are from Eastern Europe originally, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine etc…
