- I'm going to show you how to make a double sided pressing and cutting mat using only a few simple items that you are likely to have laying around in your craft room.

You will need: A self healing cutting mat, quilting cotton, wadding, card or plywood, staple gun, duck tape/ Gaffer Tape & a glue gun

Brilliant idea - also makes good use of bits and pieces you may already have, and if you have a rather tired looking cutting mat, it will hide quite a bit of.

A tip: you can watch movies at KaldroStream. Been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

If i wanted to do this the size of my table (30"x60") would it still work well for garment making purposes?
No not really its just for small projects

No reason why not, just glue it on the back.

tried this but the carboard cannot tolerate steam I ended up making a new one covering all cardboard in waterproof fablon first ..
The cardboard should be well and truly protected by the wadding used to pad the board. My one is still going strong. Great idea to protect it first though
