I remember the first time I heard them in 1999..."Move To Bremerton" was on The Box, channel 98. Fell in love with the sound. Been listening to them ever since. Just always consistently good shit from them. And they've gotten even better as they've gotten older.
I know you probably don't care, nor will you likely see this, but I'm only 15 and punk has greatly affected and changed my life. It's something that me and my dad can bond over and go to shows about, and I'm just so glad it's here. I'll try to support it and keep it alive haha :)
And the memories are so clear and vivid from your albums that I can only thank you with all my heart and soul. I may have memory issues but when I listen to your music I feel like I am with my family again. Thank you. Please know that you have made a difference in my life. Much love!
This band has always been there. My first ever real concert without my parents was to Little Stink in 2001. It was MxPx, Fenix TX, Good Charlotte, Killing Heidi and Sum 41. I cut my finger and got taken backstage to get to the medical tent. The woman that got me backstage knew MxPx and they said hi to me. I want to say it was a girlfriend or wife of one of the members. After the show they signed my "Let it happen" album. Thanks for everything through the last 20 years.
42 now, fans since 97 and still is. The end of the song is epic good. Who said we can't be better with age... Like a good wine. Can't keep waiting + Let's ride are MxP two of their best songs they wrote. I love their melodic "mature" sound. I'm from Montreal, Canada and can't wait to see them live anywhere on a roadtrip. I appreciate their recent internet live shows with a great mix of playlist songs (Popular one/rare + old/new). Their next tour have to be like that!!!
I was so sad when Yuri retired years back. Thankfully he came out of retirement and we have gems like these. From seeing a MxPx t-shirt on a high school friend back when I was 14 to buying the albums- 22 years later and you guys are still my favorites. Keep it up!
Wow im 36 now first listen to MxPx from my brother’s casette tape Life in General album ..when i was 18 junior hi school..thx for entertain my teenage years mr herrera-wisniewski-ruley🤘🏻✨
What a beautiful video. The woman shows an increasing awareness and care of her surroundings as she lets go of her stress. And correspondingly, she can tune in to the message that has been trying to make its way to her despite her best efforts to block it out. The more a watch the more I feel like it’s an image of how humans react to God’s grace.
Wow, that's an awesome explanation. My interpretation of it was completely different. I thought that it was more of a metaphor for the music industry as a whole. With folks not being as willing to pay for music and the revenues for artists being a lot less during the Spotify and streaming era than they were in the CD era, live touring is how many artists make most of their money nowadays. When the pandemic took that away initially, there was real concern among a lot of artists that this would be the final nail in the music industry's coffin. Instead, bands like MxPx were able to find a way to make their livestreams desirable for fans, and this enabled them to survive. Mike has spoken about this on his podcast a few times, so that's why it really influenced my interpretation of the video. But your explanation is a compelling one, too. :)
I’ve been a fan since I found Let It Happen when I was 11. I saw them open for Good Charlotte and New Found Glory shortly after. I turn 32 this year. This is one of the best songs in their entire discography.
Here I am: 8am in my bed, it's Monday and I'm unemployed but that's ok. We're living hard times but a MxPx song is everything I need in this moment. Thanks guys. Keep rocking and try to play in Brazil again. We fucking love you.
Dissapoint with the offspring and nofx but it not over yet, mxpx still make me feel like teenager again. Still same beat like 15 or 20 years a go. thank you for never change.
I've watched (listened) to this video over a dozen times. I love it. Maybe it's because of the outro, but this song seems like it has a "The Ataris" vibe to it.
Amazing tune guys and I still can’t get over Yuri with a beard. Mike may be a Texas guy now, but basements and bayside backyards are where his heart is. Love the tune guys! Great work!
This is the 3rd time I have heard this song and I love it! 😎🤘❤🔥 but I actually think it sounded better live both times, like the excitement and performance were through the roof...just like an mxpx show...God, I miss live concerts. Thanks guys for bringing back that feeling 😊👏
This songs been awesome in the live streams! You boys were quick with a video! Keep rolling strong! There's alot of us that look to your music to keep going, words cant describe how much you boys are appreciated!
My friend introduced me to you back in '96. I love At the show and Life in General albums the most. You were and still are my go to band for music. I am glad to see that you as a group haven't truly given up and are still making new awesome music. Keep it up! Will always listen until the day I die.
Better late than never! I love this song, the outro is so amazing and the overall feeling is very nostalgic!! Can't keep waiting for seeing these guys again!!
Love from Ukraine, been your fan since SGTWOTB, and now my 8yo twins listen to your songs, even though they don’t understand English yet. They’ll catch up on the awesomeness of lyrics later anyway when they hit teen years. One note to your cameraman: now that you’re a quartet, I thought it would be fair to feature Chris more prominently in your videos.
This band has aged into one of the best rock bands on Earth.
I mean

You ain't lying.

I saw them in Ottawa in high school in ‘98 or ‘99, awesome show.
Takes me back to when I was cruising around my hometown, and having the world at my fingertips while listening to “Buffalo” as a young man

heeeey! I also discovered them at 14! And now it's 21 years later for me
Love this so much!!! MxPx, your music 🎶 has saved my life ever since I was 14. I'm 38 now. 😁🎸 Still love, Mxpx. ❤

Went from a pop group into a legitimate punk band. Great band, one of my top 10 of all time.
The Outro to this song is perfection. I always play it over and over.
So happy to rediscover these guys.
How does this band always know what I'm feeling?
The entire outro is the sonic version of looking through a forgotten photo album.
Perfect
You are 100% correct.
I’ve been a fan since I found Let It Happen when I was 11. I saw them open for Good Charlotte and New Found Glory shortly after. I turn 32 this year.

Dissapoint with the offspring and nofx but it not over yet, mxpx still make me feel like teenager again. Still same beat like 15 or 20 years a go. thank you for never change.

You are amazing! This song is a total masterpiece! The instrumental outro is so breathtaking!! Sending love from Italy!! 🇮🇹❤️

Son lo más... greetings from Bolivia 🇧🇴
So good!! What more can you ask for? One of my favorite bands since sometime around 1998 is still bringing us new music during a pandemic. Thank you!
Wow. I think outro is by far the most instrumentation Mxpx has ever messed with (besides Theme Fiasco). Absolutely brilliant. Sick song. 😍
I like the outro much more than the rest of the song.
THE ONLY BAND THAT WITH THEIR SONGS MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE AND WITH A GREAT SENSE FOR LIFE THANK YOU !!!
GREETINGS FROM MEXICO
I've grown up with your music and your music has grown up with me. It's great to hear punk, but about adult stuff. Thanks, guys.
I've watched (listened) to this video over a dozen times. I love it. Maybe it's because of the outro, but this song seems like it has a "The Ataris" vibe to it.
Love you guys!! Cheers from British Columbia, Canada🇨🇦 Been listening to you guys since Responsibility, and I am still with you 2 decades later✌😎
Amazing tune guys and I still can’t get over Yuri with a beard. Mike may be a Texas guy now, but basements and bayside backyards are where his heart is. Love the tune guys! Great work!
