In Cambodia, this is the correct version of drumming for lion dance. But when I moved to the US and heard their lion dance drumming for the first time. It was not what I heard before.
from when I was involved in lion dancing appx. three decades ago, this is the ONLY correct way to play the drums.... IDK what all these other clubs are doing with their drumming? they are ruining/disrespecting the true aspect of lion dance drum tardition... you will see when you listen to other clubs during Night in Chinatown....please do not lose this version...
