Thanks so much, This is exactly why I've made these videos! glad it's helped out.... I have a playlist dedicated to the Portes du Soleil...... with Trails covered in Les Gets,Chatel, Linderets and the Champery area which is all covered on the same lift pass!
Smart video mate . Ironically the trail down from gondola station to the bottom I thought was the best ! If your over in France this year get over to Samones ..... brilliant steep natural trails
daveandmerlin Thanks Dave.... I’ve heard good things from Samoens🤔..... That trail is not for the faint hearted😮..... There used to be some incredible trails under Super M but the land owners shut it down.
Hi there great content keep it up. Anyway I'm going on a family trip to Europe next year, unfortunately I only have 5 days to ride portes soleil and I was wondering what the best bike park to go to for a short period of time would be. What Do you think??
Thanks, Ok awesome. You should be able to cover a fair bit of the PDS in 5 days. Check out this article on my website which i think could help you out -mtbtrailhub.com/morzine-mtb/ Will you have a veichle or flying in? What kind of riding do you like the most?
@@MtbTrailHub Thanks. We are flying from the UK. I like to ride more natural trails and single track kinda stuff e.g. alpine single track, long descents and generally less ridden trails, but chairlift accessible. would love to hear what you think.
@@chandosbookkeeping5820 ok nice, Finding less ridden trails in the PDS is quite hard these days tbh. - The swiss national is a must and while you're over there be sure to try the run under the Crosets lift. - If you like a bit of a pedal then do the Portes Du Soleil route which is a route that takes in the whole area in one day, 80km loop lift assisted. - Other gems if you like rocky trails are the runs under the Linderets chair. Nobody rides them but they are fun and technical - The 'not so' secret trails in Les Gets are really fun too. Keep an eye for trails leading off the main line. These are well ridden in but still fun - The ultimate has to be Morgins but it will take a few hours to get there and you need to catch a bus in Chatel too. (Hence why it's quiet) Hope that helps, Give me a shout if i can help with anything else.
Stevo's UA-cam 🤭 I’m just running the standard rims that came on the glory, you can’t tell on the video but I was on the tipping point , nose manualing down the landing!! Could of been so bad!! She’s a pretty big hitter😬
