Thank you for sharing such a precious testimony! An awsome man. Even since his childhood he proved to be a model of human dignity. I love you Jewish people. The light of God is resting on you that' s why so many advwrsities from the darkness...
Excellent interview! Both by Mr. Schoenfeld and the interviewer. She was very engaged with him and he seemed entirely comfortable with her. Again his story was so different from all of the others I have listened to. He is definitely a Holocaust survivor, even though he didn’t think he was for a long time. I also loved listening to his son as well. They are a wonderful family. This interview wasn’t done until 2023, I’m so glad to have listened to it.
A lot of complaints about the interviewer. She’s the one actively getting survivor stories out there. Complainers sat at home on their computers doing nothing for history. Thank you to the interviewers and the USC for keeping survivors stories alive. I appreciate your hard work and dedication ❤
As others have said, the interviewer was confrontive and dry at first whereas given the topic, you would want a more supportive sounding approach. I would guess that she was focused on gathering information for his important history, and personsl dtory. Her intention was kinder than she soundsd, and their conversation was more real and energized as tydy proceeded. She honored and elicited his important story. He did quite well. He Is an intelligent, strong and dedicated man. This is a genuine account of one dimension of the time of the holocaust, before and after it, and I'm grateful for how it takes me into my roots.
Such a shame. The interviewer was so awful. They really make a difference in these important documentations. This lady made it very difficult to watch. She shouldn’t be allowed to interview anyone else. It’s too important for incompetence.
Wonderful story. Thank you for sharing this. Even if the interviewer is drawn to this kind of work, she needs to look elsewhere, as her skill set is not in interviewing. To openly badger the man about submitting the name of that man when he did not want to pursue it was hard to listen to.

What a sensitive, intelligent soul this man has.
My heart hurts for the Jewish people. Why is there so much hate in the world. I love Freddy.
I am so sorry you went through this horrible time! Thank you for sharing!♥️🙏🇺🇸

Nicely said. Promote kindness.God bless you Mr. Schoenfeld.
Does anyone know if he found the man who saved him or what his name was?
All these interviews-the survivors are so dignified and amazing. Thankyou for sharing your story.

What a kind heart man. Very sad story.
Giving a like just because he is lively. This lady needs work, she acts like she doesnt care just asking questions.

Awful... the impatient sighs and scolding is awful
He is lovely, interviewer not so much, needs a bit more tact
Seriously? It’s comedy.
What about this is comedy?
