Looks like a really interesting band! I'm going to check them out for sure. Thanks for the video about them!
@@ThatAlbumReviewShow Thank you for watching! I hope you find something you like about them.
Sold! A band I'm not aware of, but with style and swagger I'm up for. Similar to Soraia, me thinks. Screen shot of band bio page taken, and in the vinyl photo album it goes for reference. As always Peter, in depth, interesting, and entertaining! 😎🎶
Thank you so much as always, Ed. Check out some of those videos and see what album you want to start with. I heard that the Devour You album has a scratch and sniff rose on the cover.
Hey Peter. I love Starcrawler! They were the last band I saw live before the COVID shutdown. She is an amazing front person! Live, she owns the stage like a young Iggy!
Nice breakdown. Cheers
Thanks, Bobby! She took a lot of inspiration from Cherie Currie and some from Joan Jett. I'd say she knows how to be a rock star on stage. She's way chill in the interviews I've seen with her. Nice you got to see them live!
@ They killed it!
Really enjoyed this video Peter. You make things so... accessible somehow (as in, I tried to convey what I think I mean). Thank you for this splendid video.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Morten. I'm trying to get back to doing what I set out to do with my channel, and that was feature and promote artists I'm interested in.
@ Well you are very good at it 😊
@ That’s very generous of you to say so, Morten. Thank you.
@@musicisajourney Happy to do so 😊
your recommendation is good enough for me Peter - I'll check them out 🙂
I hesitate to say there are worth including in one's collection simply because us older dudes have heard it all when it comes to classic rock. That's partly why I didn't get into the band five years ago. I wondered if I'd actually really enjoy the songs without the entertaining videos. But I like the band's music well enough. I still say that the videos are definitely worth watching, and the band does know how to be rock and roll!
@@musicisajourney thanks Peter. will do some UA-cam digging 🙂

There are dozens of exciting young rock bands that are currently making music. You're only scratching the surface with Starcrawler (whom I do like but are probably like 10th on my list of current bands I pay attention to). Rock music hasn't declined because of young people. It's declined because big record labels prefer safe formulaic producer driven material and rock bands tend to be the opposite of that.
@@tmage23 And that’s exactly what my search came to in the end. Starcrawler was just the first. That’s how I came to know them. Since then, there have been so many more I don’t even try to keep up. At the end of the video I say that UA-cam keeps recommending more and ore videos to me.
Like you said, rock is doing just fine. There are so many young people creating rock albums. Just most of them have to stay indie.
Hi Peter!!! Never heard about Starcrawler before, they sounded like a fun modern band and see if they have "substance" in their music and career as well more than other newish and hyped bands like Ghost, the Warning or GVF.... cheers and be well
@@cristianosorio2517 Hey, Cristian! I feel like their substance is growing. The first two albums are fun, there are some good tunes, and the videos are great. But from what I’ve heard, they are growing with their third album. I’ll get it a little later on. I recently got an album by The Warning. You’ll hear me mention it on March 8th.
Henry Cash has a very nice green suit in that shot 👍Come to Australia if you want new bands of any type. Who cares about charts. Youngin’s are rockin. Just not at festivals. I’m a billion clubs & pubs. Runaways are a great influence. This band must have some money behind them. The clips look like they cost a bit. Cool vid 🤘
@@benrankins4446 I don’t see a shortage of young acts these days. They are there if you look, and you certainly introduce a lot from Down Under, Ben!
Yeah, Starcrawler do have money going their way. That’s a big help!
Hey Peter! I am about as anti GVF as you can get. Do not get the attraction one bit, for me the singer is very off-putting. She looks very unhealthy. Did she share pictures of the rest of her family to corroborate? Cheers!
Hi, Steve. I'm afraid GVF did nothing to excite me either.
Arrow, the singer of Starcrawler, looks unhealthy. But she's looked that way since around 2016 and still looks that way. I watched an interview with her with a female interviewer, and part of the discussion was her... body type. Arrow said people either assumed she was a basketball or volleyball player or anorexic. Some people on social media even attacked her for posting photos of herself, inferring that she was trying to encourage the unhealthy skinny look. But she knows how to be a rock performer!
@@musicisajourney Thanks for the explanation!
@@AisForAliceBisForBob She did say she was the only one in the band who smoked though.
