These are actually not extremely common in my area, so I don’t hate them. To me, they’re one of the last elevators produced with those sorts of light-up roughly square shaped buttons: they remind me of later Impulse and Series 1. It’s actually cool to me that this general design is still manufactured by at least one company. Apparently they’re also Schindler’s last hydraulic elevators, and I know Kone stopped making them all together.
