I think what the viewers were trying to ask is how to have dominant rhythm. Whoever has the dominant rhythm and is able to control the pace of the fight usually looks like the better fighter. I’d like to hear your thoughts on ways you enforce your own rhythm
It's a really tough question. That's something that simply comes with being the better fighter. But yes...there are many ways to enforce your rhythm. Winning exchanges, also winning the battle of endurance. Little mindgames can help break tie fights.
It depends a lot on what kind of pace youre trying to enforce. So mostly the answer is be really good at your style. If youre a pressure fighter who's better at pressure fighting than your opponent is at slowing it down, then you'll win.
I love sparring with someone that has jazz rythm makes everything smooth. I hate sparring with someone that has deathmetal rythm the keep coming at you throwing bombs.
Great content as always. How does one get over the fear of sparing, especially hard sparring? Not that I think hard sparring should be done super often but I got into boxing to learn how to protect myself. Problem is I got my street fight a long time ago and I had to have facial reconstructive surgery and I'm kind of afraid to spar hard. I'm also afraid to throw my punches hard because I worry about hurting others. I'm still flinching I'm still closing my eyes. How do I get over that fear? If you've already covered this topic, can you just tell me the name of the article or the video?
Go to a gym that does drill instead. My gym let us do drills. They’ll show us moves then tell us partner up. We aren’t sparring just drilling. Testing out the move we were taught. That definitely will prepare for sparring.
I definitely agree with Johnny's philosophy. Some really good points about ghe forward or backward fighters and whether they front hand/rear hand.
😎😎
We should collaborate, I've been watching your channel for years, and it was one of the inspirations for me to start my own!
That sounds fun! Thanks for watching all these years.

Yes, it's annoying to spar someone that's just crazy and kills the flow of the fight.
Where's the super cardigan?
Any tips for me if you watch my sparring videos?
I'm back to normal mode, super cardigan not being worn today. You can post your sparring videos in the facebook group for feedback.
Thank you. 🏴
Could you mske a video about close medium long range for hooks and uppercuts
can you make a video on how to throw an uppercut and liver punch?
I have several on those already. Have you seen them all?

Search “sparring” on my channel. There are numerous videos about it. And also written guides on my site covering the topic.
@@expertboxing thank you so much
