"I hope that makes sense" Yes! Been thinking a lot about body movement as I'd initially focused on stillness so I wouldn't provide extra (wrong) information from my lead for my attrocious inability to move my body but now I've been doing role rotation I've gained an appreciation for how lovely it feels to be led by someone with a better body movement in their basic step and I want to be able to include that in my dance and I've been trying to piece together all the things I've been taught but not quite ready for: chest moving in direction of travel, hips travelling opposite and stepping *into* the floor and I checked back here for an example to see how your foot placement works and I can see all the elements I'm trying to marry together shown in action, really helpful!
Thankyou for all of your videos, they are detailed and helpful and fun to watch and your voice is fun to listen to. I've tried it against the wall and using a chair and in open space, it's a fun move and I'll definitely use it in a few of the different dances I do. I attempted it during a Ballet class i was taking and the the instructor said hey... the is no body rolls in ballet... Then she came up to me after class and said she liked my sense of humor and please come back to my class anytime.
Professor Rasa, good morning, your tutorial videos are my permanent reference book in order to correct some inconveniences during dance practice; during my bachata dance practices, when I tapped in steps 4 and 8 I get blocked and lose time; By observing this tutorial, I have been able to determine that I am not performing well the transfer of the hip in the change of weight and also the speediness of the times; that is to say, musically there is a longer time than the other 3, right ?; My comment is based on the fact that I have learned to perform several of the different dance steps and even choreographies, but when I put them into practice with the music "I get lost" and I feel that I do not do well to the musical rhythm. I appreciate any comment on this. A hug my pretty teacher.
All the beats 1 2 3 and 4 are even tempo. When you tap on 4 make sure you do not put your heal down, it will help you to continue dancing quickly. If you'd like you could film yourself doing the basic steps and I'll give you feedback 😊
Hi Rasa! I was taking lessons at Fred Astaire Studio in Herndon/Reston. I found out that my Italian Instructor is basically being human trafficked. The owner, Susannah, never got him legal status. My family & I offered to help him get legal, and have a car to drive - allow him independence... but the owner found out and made the situation untenable. Any thoughts?
That is a crazy wild story, outside my expertise 🤯. However, if somebody is being trafficked police should definitely get involved to punish those who do it !
Вот как на этих, видео ua-cam.com/video/Lq_cmG_ZkC4/v-deo.html , ua-cam.com/video/HBcyVsKS8ls/v-deo.html
