I went out of my way to get this edition of the game, and it was worth every bit the extra money. I'm proud to own this.

European here, I got a keychain, a download code for the original Metroid II: Return of Samus, the CD, a Metroid pin badge, a steelbool case that looks like the original Metroid II: Return of Samus Game Boy cartridge, and an artbook consisting of artwork from Metroid II: Return of Samus and Metroid: Samus Returns. Oh, and the game, too. it's so much better than the US one.

Found this at Walmart one time, a week later it was completely gone. Now it’s been almost 2 months and I checked my local GameStop to find this again! Scalpers ain’t got **** On me! (Lol Got lucky seeing this 2-pack On shelf again)
The standard edition has the same back cover as the back of the outer case for the special edition (all the promotional blurbs @1:15 or so).
Europe's Legacy Edition is pretty slick. Seems NoE likes to splurge on that kind of stuff for their games. You gunning for that one as well, Lithium?

bought this game on eBay and thought I had a boot when the back cover said "not for resale" and then "blank" back cover. had to dig this up to find that I guess someone sold me their SE copy? how weird! glad to play this game. been a fan for decades!

Great video! This was a long awaited love letter to Metroid fans. We have been waiting a long time to get a new game, or Metroid themed products. What was so exciting for me personally was the game that we finally got was a remake of the very game that made me fall in love with this series, Metroid 2! Glad to see you are back to making videos my friend!

The back of the Regular Edition of the game is simply the back of the Collector's Edition cardboard box. Glad I got it too, so I don't need to print out a Regular Edition box.
I haven't gotten it, but I'm certainly trying!

I'm a bit disappointed that the EU Special Edition for Samus Returns was much better than what NA got. I would have considered getting the SE if it was comparable to what Europe got, but I unfortunately passed because it was only a soundtrack for NA. Still a really nice game, but I'm fine with just the standard edition and the amiibo.
Also, I'm curious if you have any thoughts about what was revealed during the Nintendo Direct that aired a couple weeks ago on September 13th. Anything stick out to you, such as the reveal of more third party support (DOOM, Wolfenstein II, etc), and possibly other topics like the Special Edition for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the Xenoblade Pro Controller, Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, etc.
It’s not said to be limited but it is a Collector’s/Special Edition which eventually goes up in value. I am not destined to buy this but I’ll go for just the standard release. I’m really destined to buy FE Warriors (don’t like saying FEW) and XBC2 Nintendo Switch Special Editions and to get them as Christmas Presents. Hey, can you do an unboxing of the 2DS XL? I’d like to see you do it. I want an orange and white one as well as a Galaxy New 3DS XL which looks fucking fantastic. I love that blue (my favourite colour)/purple hybrid and that image. It almost looks Limited or Special but it really is not.
While I do love my Legacy Edition, it's a pity it doesn't have the reversible cover like the American one does.
I do love how the EAN code on the reverse side says 00 SR388 00 though. Nice touch. :)

Don't forget that in Europe, the Metroid Samus Return Special Edition is different than North America. I don't know if you seen it? It looks cool by the way, but why come in a soundtrack in this special edition in North America only? Just saying.
