When Nathan Lane chases Matthew in to the hall way. It all ways remindes me of The Producers. LOL. I love Nathan Lane so much. I have been a huge lover and adorer and supporting fan of Nathan Lane. I loved and adored him as Max Bialystock from The Producers. Nathan your The wind beneath my wings. I love you Nathan.

3:06 - 4:32 XD ROFL!!!! Love these guys!!! Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick are so hilarious and have such great timing with their comedy. Both are so talented and are such wonderful people! I could go on and on. :)
I did this scene in high school about 8 years ago and honestly it might be my favourite performance I've ever done in 19 years of theater. It was so fun but also has some emotional bits. I wish I could do it again but I stopped doing theater when I broke my spine and I have no idea if I'll be able to go back for a very long time, if ever. Watching this scene again was so nostalgic, I'm so happy I found it.
Matthew may seem like a stilted actor, but think of the character he is playing. Felix: tense, fastidious, nervous, OCD, semi-suicidal... It's the character coming out of him that makes this performance seem so, "bland" he doesn't loosen up with his range of voice or emotion because in a sense, felix can't! When an actors' performance seems stunted by the character they are portraying, it's the character. Not the actor.
Cole Riley tbh though he can act a little stilted, he is my favorite actor by the way and always will be he’s just the best to me but if you look at some of his interviews about him talking about his old movies he can act a little anxious and twitchy, but to me it’s just who he is and I love him so much.
Put these two together and there's no telling what they will do. They always work great together.

Tell that to Jack Lemmon and Tony Randall. It’s the actor, Broderick was terrible here.
