      ummm Why are you making tutorials for beginners and giving them bad tips
      example: 1:00 you're showing how to make a cube like building when you can just put a hole in a wall with Negate => CTRL =>Union.
      If you're teaching them to make houses like that they would just look ugly or they'll be very very time consuming

    • @eyras_developments2855
      @eyras_developments2855  3 роки тому +7

      Please keep in mind these are BEGINNERS. Showing them to use negate instantly can halt a lot of building experience. Building houses is not all that you can do with a block. Its best to slowly bring people into developing

    • @eyras_developments2855
      @eyras_developments2855  3 роки тому +7

      Also using negating can also be time consuming. For example of I negate an object it may be hard to change the color or if I want to change and or add extra details. Until someone finds their own building style I will slowly teach them methods to where they have the chance to choose whether or not they want to choose to use negating or not. I have not yet made a tutorial on negating as I see it as a more advanced way of building. I want everyone to get accustomed to the original way of building. When you are new to building you shouldnt be thinking of "oh my God I'm taking too long". I want them to focus on creating what they imagined inside of their head. And later on if they find that they want the process to go faster they may therefore choose to use the negating method. Personally with the way I build I do not always use negating. Again I have not and will not cut them off if they want to do that. But I will for sure make sure to give them all possible building ways that they can use to their benefit. I find it kinda rude that you refer to those tips as "bad tips" just because you in your head decided that since its time consuming it is considered "bad" when it is not. They will take their time and one day feel comfortable to choose what they want to do. Thank you for reading.

    • @eyras_developments2855
      @eyras_developments2855  3 роки тому +7

      Also. Please refrain from calling someones and anyone's build "ugly" as there is no such thing as an ugly build. All builds come from the heart and I would never call someones creation ugly. Just because its not your way doesnt mean its the wrong way. Everyone has room for improvement on all builds, but none of them are ugly

    To those who are trying to get better or just improve on building, well just start off small. See I’ve been on Roblox studio for about 1 year and my building is still kinda like “ehhh” Sometimes I start off strong with my builds but then later on I start to feel the laziness come to me. So what I do is take like a 3 minute break and get some water, after that I get back to building. So just start off small doing cool little builds and start to mess with it then when you get good at it or get use to it start to move on to a bigger project. Please try it out and tell me how it comes out for you! Also don’t just try building try and do some GUI editing that’s what I’m best on. But it’s your opinion I just find guis a lot more easier and I’m great at making it.

    Tip: DO NOT SET MOVE TO 0! If you want smooth movement, set it to 0.05. That way you wont have parts that dont line up perfectly.

      Nah but that's why told them to start off with those. Personally I like 0 opposed to 0.5 and all those other ones, idk why but they bother me. I think it just depends on the person

    In some of these, you can use plugins such as:
    • Smooth Camera; makes your studio camera much smoother
    • Building Tools (F3X); (people probably know what this does) it’s like a more helpful building tool with multiple options in building.
    You can also use Unions and Negates which is for the shape part. The union combines regular parts together that’s connected to make it into one. The negate is used to make like a removed part in a part. You want to make a negate part right before you union the whole thing.

    Also if you want to make your building more advanced here are my tips also:
    1. If you want to make some cool meshes instead of NOT using blender you can insert a part and insert a mesh and you can select any mesh you want, or if you don’t want any of those meshes try to think how you would get some meshes and make a whole completely different mesh
    2. If you want to make a part that has a hole in it you should put your part, and insert another part and scale it where you can see the part from both sides of the main part. Not click that and insert “negative” the block will turn red and transparent. Now you have to group both of the parts then click “union” in your main part and it’ll make a hole in your main part!
    3. Hacks. Try to think of some building hacks you can use to make something look more advanced, you can think of them or just borrow some hacks from UA-cam!
    4. Coding. Coding is a method you need to use ALOT in building mostly obbies and Roleplay games. If you want a part to do something for example like kill you when you step on it, you’ll need to code. To be honest I can’t even code by myself yet but I search up what I want to script on UA-cam and it can give me tutorials
    Btw your video is great, I should’ve watched this the very beginning of me building in studio.

    For all of the new builders, to make doors and windows in just one part instead of multiple, here's how you can make one
    Step 1: Make the wall full (yes, full)
    Step 2: Make a second part inside the wall on the size of the door/window (make sure it's slightly outside the wall when you size it both on the back and front but it does not have to look the same
    Step 3: With only selecting the second part, Go to Model and click Negate
    Step 4: Select both parts (hold shift on one part and click the other to select them both) and press Union
    You should now see a frame to put your door/window in, I hope this helps you and if you need help, you can reply, and i can reply back as humanly possible

    5:45 - Shift+D actually moves your camera slowly and doesn't duplicate anything. You probably meant to say CTRL+D. Also, at 0:03, you put "begginers", when you have "beginners" in the title. "Beginners" is correct.

      I will do a video on it but it might take a bit so I'll add a tip to this comment.
      The most common mistakes is a lot of builders don't use textures, or they use to many textures and don't know where to properly place them

      Its in the explorer page. If you look for lighting" it had a little light bulb icon. Once you click that you'll see in the properties tab you have a bunch of new options. In that tab it may be the type of lighting your using. For example "voxel" or "shadow map" or "future". If you don't see it just let me know and we can talk 1 on 1
