the Quicksilver scene & the old Charles talking to young Charles are both top tier of ALL Marvel movies
In the comics Magneto is Quicksilver's and Wanda's/Scarlett Witch's biological father ....also the kitchen scene with quicksilver is best part of the movie especially with the song

This is my favorite X-men movie! The prison break scene is HILARIOUS!!
I personally think X-Men Days of Future Past is the best superhero movie ever made.
The M was for Morlock (it was explained in the comics and the X Men show The Gifted) the Morlock leader was marking the faces of the mutants that joined their crew with a M on their face.
The Gifted is available on Disney Plus/Hulu

Neanderthals lived in peace with Homo Sapiens. They were not extinguished. They were lower in numbers as they were specifically from the Neander Valley in Germany. They were simply bred out and many people like myself still carry Neanderthal traits.
I'm likely in the minority, but I never liked that they gave *Wolverine* bone-like claws under the adamantium,¹ like we see in this film. They were added in the comics sometime in the 90's.
Generally, fans are loyal to the way things were when the fan is first introduced to the comic, book or film. I first became an *_X-Men_* fan, back in the late 70's, thanks to artist/writer *John Byrne* and writer *Chris Claremont.*

¹ ─ I might've been okay with them if they were drawn and sculpted to look more sleek, like actual animal claws. Instead, they're often shown to look all bumpy and icky, almost like a tree branch.
Hello Marian & Joy!😊 This is one of my favorite X-Men films. They handle time travel very well in these films. The only problem I have with this film is the sentinels from the 70s are too advanced. We did not have that advanced technology back then. We didn't even have the microchip yet. The sentinels should have been much more primitive. Joy did a very good job following what happens here and what is connected with previous films. Great reactions to this fine X-Men film, Marian & Joy!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
The microchip was invented in 1958 and was used in a phase-shift oscillator. They were commercially available in the 1960s and computers were being made with microchips, instead of transistors, from then on.
My point being the technology of the sentinels is not seen in main stream electronics at that time in history. I believe the cell phone they called the brick wasn't even available until the 80s and weighed 2 pounds.@@maddwitch
Its worth checking out 'the Rogue Cut' which is significantly different to this with, suprise! Rogue playing a major part in the movie. Includes a big section in the future.

@@MJoy4Fun both are the 'full' movie, this is an odd one with them simply deciding to go in a different direction so whilst there's around 17 minutes of additional footage several scenes have also been lost. Notably Kitty is injured by Wolverine thrashing his claws around and unable to continue the mission. The alternative is to get Rogue to replace her. Unfortunately she is a prisoner in a Sentinal concentration camp. Of course this introduces a complete side quest.
Also I would recommend the uncut version of 'The Wolverine' its actually my favourite X-men movie. Ninja vs Snowplough!

Easily top 3 x-men film, sadly you guys didn't watch the better Rogue cut version. The end credit was Apocalypse and the 4 horsemen,the next film, which is actually garbage compared to this.
I bought and watched the Rogue cut,enjoyed it. The Apocalypse film was-TRASH !!!! A truly convoluted mess of a movie,plus I really hate Apocalypse as a villian. LOL.

LMAO. What? Why? The theatrical cut is so much better... as a movie. Its tighter, leaner and cleaner. X-Men Days of Future Past moves like gangbusters. We dont get a bunch of unnecessary subplots and melodrama weighing down the action or the plot.
Enjoy this feeling of satisfaction, because every Xmovie after this one sucks ! The only saving grace is"Logan"

Come on. After all of the junk Marvel has been putting out, can we lay off X-Men Apocalypse?? It's not a perfect movie like Days of Future Past. But Apocalypse is still a great superhero movie.

@MJoy4Fun it's a longer version if this movie with extra scenes that makes more sense to the history and with the presence of rogue as part crucial in the history
