Ah there it is. I didn't even know my second hand w212 had a towbar, only saw it when I was looking around under the car and it was the exact same towbar as this with the same little black cover. I'll test this out tonight, I hope it still works 😅
Hello, I have E class 2012 saloon with Oris foldable hitch. Problem is, i don't know how to hide the tow bar. I tried to find it everywhere but i couldn't hide. Any idea where the control could be? Thank you very much.
Only guessing now but may I it been stuck, have you giving it a light kick underneath? Do you use it often? it’s a service kind of thing they can malfunction if not in use or service.
1805 kg totally with trailer are the specific max weight here in Sweden but guess it’s could depend where you live. Not sure where to find how much it can handle. I drove with 2000 kg trailer and old W124 behind with no problem whatsoever.
i have this tow bar but mine isnt working... no light on the handle when you turn it and it dosnt relese the tow bar, does anyone got the same problem and help me with it ?
I have the same, great hook. I usually just kick it, It goes both ways with suitable kick.

I think you should keep the one you got. Is it really expensive and lot of work to change for this oem unit.

Max tow weight is 2100 kg I believe.
