flashback ... it's 1992 ... you have an Ensoniq ASR-10 with a few Ooh's and Aah's. You happily commit to a $1000 RAM expansion that gives you a whopping 14MB of memory ... all bottlenecked by a SCSI Syquest 270MB drive with a cartridge eject/load procedure that could take 10 minutes to achieve. This is bloody amazing, as is getting a gift card with 30 seconds of 8-bit audio. That cost MANY THOUSANDS of dollars back in the day.

Could you confirm, is this the full 4 packages combined, or edited versions of them please ?
The main difference between the Voices Of Rapture library for Kontakt Player and the original individual Voice Of Rapture libraries is the removal of the secondary omni microphone type. This microphone channel was rarely used and considered redundant, in addition to increasing ram and CPU load, voice count and hard disk use. The Kontakt Player version is now just focused on the primary cardioid microphone - a Neumann TLM 103. The second difference is that it's been encoded for Kontakt Player and compressed to Native Instruments' lossless ncw format, which compresses the audio file size substantially to conserve hard disk use. The end result is a significantly lighter resource footprint and better performance, even on less powerful computers, in addition to simplifying the GUI controls, without any impact on audio quality. At the same time, we expanded the staccato vowel choices so that all four singers have parity across a full selection of vowels.
