Glad for you. But our justice system is perverted now. Death row inmate Michael Rippo’s sentence was overturned over bs and he might also be free. This, after brutally murdering my friend and hers when we were 24. 30 years ago.
Vaseline was used to INSURE a seal on the gaskets on all windows and the door itself due to the fact the neoprene rubber of the seal would dry and sometimes crack when the windows were bolted down and the door cranked shut. It cost about 25K to replace just the rubber seal on the door. It cost about 9K each to replace the seals on the windows. I know this verbatim because I worked in Parchman MS where WE had a gas chamber.

Pressure is measured by barometer.(inside and outside the chamber) and vacuum is maintained (negative pressure) by the fan inside so that if there ARE leaks they leak INTO the chamber and not out of the chamber. Its a great machine and the bastards strapped to the chair in it deserve it.

Jesse Bishop was the LAST man executed by lethal gas in Nevada. All others after him were lethal injection inside the gas chamber. It is interesting to see the valves and controls as well. This one operated slightly different than the others around the country. Note ALSO that the ONLY gas chamber in the US that WASNT made by Eaton (either model 1 or 2,look at patents for the design differences) is in Jefferson City MO. (made by prison labor)

Price. It's ridiculously expensive to keep the chamber ready and if there is a leak fix it etc. Plus it's dangerous to the witnesses if there is a last second leak while the execution is going on
Aaron Wojhoski I don't think it's a leak problem. I think it's wasn't fast enough. They could of put a/c Freon R404A and put it under a flame 🔥 and that will turn into mustard gas and the person will be gone really fast
