A Guide to Cutting Old Towels that Produce Minimal Lint [Auntie's Wisdom Corner]

Old towels are too big to use as regular cleaning cloths, and it can be a hassle to sew them all into cloths when you already have some. That's why I, Bamiko, cut and use them as disposable cleaning cloths.
When you cut towel fabric with scissors, you end up cutting the fine loops of the terry cloth, resulting in a messy pile of lint! I learned this the hard way (laughs).
I discovered that if you first cut the thicker parts at the edges and then tear it all at once, surprisingly, there are no excessive lint or fraying issues.
I got this idea from my mother, who used to be a sewing instructor (laughs).
I'm just an ordinary lady, not a gourmet or high-end expert, but I'm sharing the things I've tried and found beneficial, little by little. (^o^)
