I learned to cut metal roofing along time ago with a circular saw. You used an old carbide finish tooth blade put in the saw backwards. You can cut 3 sheets stacked together at once. vice grips hold the sheets together. The saw has the depth and strength to cut thru them. It is loud and PPE is mandatory not an option. Roofing often has the same size sheets for a roof run. So, it can make you some time.

A week ago I had to cut corrugated metal, easiest way, circular saw and a metal blade, in my case a Diablo. Cuts like butter, no heat, no sparks, smooth edges.

You should not cut metal roofing with angle grinder, because you will void your warranty on rust protection. The heat from "cuting" will damage the paint, plastic and zinc.
