Her life story is so inspiring. Her observations about maintaining control and ownership of the land is absolutely on point. At some point, she should consider writing a business book/memoir about her life as a business woman, an entrepreneur, a mother, etc. This type of book typically becomes a best seller because people enjoy reading real stories from successful people so they also may be inspired to accomplish their own goals.

I can go on mate. Zimbabwe is also the same country that had a policy called the Indigenisation Act which forcefully took away 51% of shares from foreign owned investments. You don't need sanctions with such levels of incompetence and malfeasance. Good governance can make Zimbabwe a better country, with or without sanctions. Rhodesia had sanctions too but the economy thrived regardless.

It was the breadbasket of Africa. Providing jobs to the poorer African countries and exporting food to them. Till when sanctions and government that allowed itself to be played by the West brought it to its present state.
It was next to South Africa in development. But it will rise again as the people are resilient.

@@TimTorinoWPGJets For many decades, I have heard the colonizers paint Zimbabwe negatively. That is biased and one-sided. Definitely, there has to be a positive side that we never hear about. I still thank Wode Maya for showing us the other side of the story. Come see some parts of New York City and you will never believe this is America but rather a third-world country. This is because the western world is good at promoting itself. There are people here who can't even buy insulin, afford a decent place to sleep every and go to bed hungry. Yes, here in America. I am referring to normal/ regular people and not drug addicts. It is good to share your opinion nonetheless, Tim but I still enjoy hearing a refreshingly positive story also.

Zimbabwe was a great region.....a strategic trading point for ancient Africa. British destroyed it. Did you know European...are only 6000 years old? Up until 8500 years ago, white people didn't exist. They learned everything they know from Kemet. Now imagine what our ancestor knew. You can research this information. The part about the young lady commanding her to stand outside in the sun for thirty (30) minutes, "just because she can" was heart wrenching; and within that short statement lies the story of our people.
We have in some cases been so traumatized by colonial evil that we have adopted their ways. We then "learned" to treat each other in the same way that those who subjugated us did.
Hurt people, hurt people, oppressed people oppress people.
We are a damaged people but slowly but surely, through love, justice and respect for each other we will heal and return to the true essence of our soul.
Great video. Congratulations to Mama Mati. ❤️💯👊🏿.

For this pivotal moment to materialise, we are going to need greater unity, smart ideas and partnership and the grit shown by the likes of Dr Mati and others that you continue to showcase Maya.
