I am a South African, when I was at university I had met my Zimbabwean friends and they spoke so negative about Robert Mugabe and Zimbabwe. I came to work in the US and I met a few Zimbabweans and some became my friends and they too spoke so negative about Zimbabwe, only one Zimbabwean I met spoke so good of Zimbabwe. The Western media is also evil and presented Zimbabwe in so much negative light, South African media is to blame too. Seeing this video of Zimbabwe has changed my mind, now I am going to spend my money on vacation in Zimbabwe next year. Let us support Zimbabwe with our money by going on vacation there, invest in business there.

How? when the Zanu govt doesn't allow investors
You think Zimbabweans don't like their country? No it's the govt policy that peeces everything
Yes it's good when you visit not when you live there

I intend to visit Zimbabwe and appreciate you not allowing the setback at airport to take your focus away from showing the world Zimbabwe. Hats off to Zimbabwe for taking back their land and working with China to develop the country. Long live Zimbabwe and Eritrea!

Your comments are interesting..Try to imagine if you can, living on and working a farm your family has occupied for 3 generations.. You were born there as were your father and grandfather. Your great grandfather began to clear and develop virgin bush and unoccupied land to start the farm. Now it is a prosperous venture which employs say 100 workers whose familes live on the farm as well. Many of them are descended from workers your great grandfather first employed.
One day a gang of thugs brandishing A.K. 47 Assault Rifles, arrive in Police vehicles outside your gates shouting that they have come to take your farm in the name of "Liberation"..
They claim to be "Freedom Fighters and Veterans of the guerilla war, yet in reality many of them were infants at the time.. You try to reason with them, showing them various documents, even recent, legitimising your families' right to the land. The documents are shredded in front of you, whilst A.K. 47's are brandished by an increasingly hysterical mob. You are told that you have two hours, if you are lucky, to pack clothes and leave all that your family has acquired over the generations.... As you leave tearfully in the only vehicle you are allowed, in the rearview mirror you see the mob begin to ransack your home, and slaughter beloved domestic animals you have had to leave..
If you are brave enough to return to what you once called home say 12 or even 6 months later, you will find it derelict, overgrown and abandoned. Plant and equipment you once cared for to keep your farm operating, has either been stolen or rendered useless by abuse from lack of knowledge. Your farm workers and families have been also driven off the land. The home you were born in, is now just roofless, bare walls... This was the reality of Mugabe's Zimbabwe...!!

Zimbabwe is always a beautiful country and that's why the Muzungus from Europe went there to cause pain & bloodshed. When Elizabeth II was guaranteed land for 10yrs for her White settlers she gave Mugabe meaningless knighthood. When Mugabe refused to renew that evil deal they wanted his head and crippled poor Zimbabweans with sanctions. I'm not interested in how each Zimbabwean views him but he spent 10 yrs in jail for freedom from murderers.

Zimbabwe's best-kept secret is the eastern highlands. There are a lot of scenic places from the tea estates in Chipinge all the way up to Nyanga. (Bvumba, Chimanimani, Honde valley.) some places to visit are Aberfoyle, Mutarazi falls, Nyangombe falls, mount nyangani , Bridal veil waterfall, Chimaninmani mountains, Arboretum, Green Mount, Pork Pie Eland sanctuary, outward bound ..etc I had a surreal experience during the rainy season gliding through the clouds and in the middle of the zipline the clouds opened and seeing Mutarazi waterfalls and honde valley it was like time froze. The skyline is a must!

Kariba needs a proper harbour to dock those boats. build a promenade along the shores and road so people can drive along as they enjoy the views. Great potential for Kariba as a major tourist destination. The operators need to take the initiative to market kariba. Welldone Wode Maya. Enjoying your videos bro. President Mugabe was demonized by the west because he chose to go against the status quo. His land reform did not sit well with the former British colonizers and they together with the Americans and western Europeans did everything to destroy him and the country Zimbabwe. The west control the propoganda machinery and they use it to good effect. President Mugabe did make some mistakes ,but he is in no way as evil as Bush snr and jnr of America and Tony Blair of Britian who killed millions in Iraq and Afganistan.
