As someone who owns it, this jacket has three major things wrong with it. It's water repelancy is actually nil, within about thirty seconds of light-medium rain it was penetrated. The wind resistance is unfortunately not as impressive as the ripstop windshells (eg Patagonia Houdini or Rab Vital Shell). The worst feature is while the jacket is absurdly comfortable against the skin, it is not durable at all. Within a few hours of wearing it I already found loose threads developing, and I don't even want to bring this thing near anything abrasive. Glad to have tried, would not buy again unless they used a thicker and higher denier pertex.

Now if we can get a review on the shoes Matt was wearing while he was modelling the Kor jacket and testing the new C4s we'll reach maximum footage economy.

Looks great, I have a Patagonia stretch rainshadow that I feel can do roughly the same job :)

Leave the sleeves down at your wrists, raise your arms to full stretch above your head & see how far the waist hem lifts. If it gets close to the Haglofs LIM jackets in how little they lift doing this test, then it's probably a decent jacket 👌

4:20 what are you clipped into the anchor with??? a short loop of dynamic climbing rope? Looks like it is girth hitched to your harness. I don't see any knots anywhere. but it isn't a sling. How did you get a loop of dynamic rope like that?

Decathlon has just come to south africa and as im sure you know they supply simmond and their factory is based in Chermonix by you guys. Nobody is familiar with the brand here, can you please review some of the simmond producs - they realy are muc cheaper and with the crappy outh african exchange rate climbing gear is realy expensive
