Got dis advanced model. an it's the coolest most expensive toy for big boys iv ever owned. The controller alone is worth almost 600 euros.. Full of tech. She flys so smoothly. Even if it's breezy it hovers so steady. :)

Just got the same Phantom 3 Advanced. Thank you for the nice video Unboxing and first flight. Didn't you have to Calibrate, check the Firmware for any updates and have a full charged battery, before flying your Phantom 3?
yes, ive done updates, and calibrated before the flight

Should I get the p3 standered or the p3 advanced? I really don't know which to get and having some trouble
get the advanced. You will be much happier. The video feed has a longer range on the advanced
dont get the standard it trash because of the wifi system i talk to my friend who a DJI authorized seller and commercial pilot for Toyota he says the standard has too many issues and i sent mine back to purchase the Advance trust me on this you will regret the standard but love the advance

Here why you shouldn't get the Standard during the week and half I owned it before sending it back today it has major issues DJI can't fix 1. you will receive this error like no tomorrow "No Image Transmission Signal" basically your drone is blind and you cant record or tell it commands besides the controller. 2. Because of the first issue it unable to update and caused my drone to fail creating massive headache for me and DJI trying to help me trouble shot the drone 3. DJI wants you to send it in for repairs im not kidding on that part I talked to my friend/seller he had the Standard fixed sent it back to the buyer only to receive the same issue a week later. 4. Drone range much shorter than claimed they said you should get about 500m in urban area I got roughly at best 300m due to poor signal and thick trees. If you purchase the Standard its only a regret train and like DJI they are very strict on the warranty.
I know it cheaper but unless your willing to spend more money like idk twice the amount for repairs by all means its your money
I'm getting one new p3 advanced how do you updated??
check the DJI website for the latest firmware and instructions. you basically download the new firmware and put it on an sd card and turn on the quad copter. It will update by itself.

horrible packing for such an expensive device. I know not to order from them for anything from them now, cutting corners is a no-no in my book.

you probably have the fast charger.
Standard US delivered charger is 17.4v 3.3A. 1h 20m. I’ve owned about a dozen of them. All the same.

AliHmn Official No, your wrong. It says 1080P on the box and on the internet in some places, but if you update the firmware, you can record 2.7k. I should know because I have an Advanced and record in 2.7k.

It can go 5-6km
no, the maximum it went to about 2.1km over a lake, so no obstructions. If you are in between buildings...it goes less that 1km
