Well I sure don't see anything Frankenstein about it, great job ! Captured old school hot rodding in a mini..well done .. In school I had a friend name butch who drove a 29 ford truck with a flathead and 2 Holey duces .. took the hood completely out... ( would have been hard to do on that mini ) me- I drove a 1948 Desoto custom suburban ...with a 4 cyl. 3 on the tree .. life was so simple back then, hotrods, drive in theaters, burger joints on Fri.nite ... Kids had respect for the elders, ... Guess I could ramble on forever. Have a Happy New Year's everybody....Good gracious 2020🤔

This was an excellent cobbled-together hot rod, and the color choice and sparkle effect really set it off. I could picture this one in either the yellow you made it or a similar sparkly red color would have worked as a variant, too. Great work, Austin. (Still want to apologize for that misunderstanding last week, man.)
Deffiffnitly learned how to glue the axels inside the shafts . I really like that . thanks for adding it in the video the way you did . Ill do mine much better now
Awesome custom and colour! As the paint stripper seems to have been 'de fanged', why not try the caustic soda route? Rob at Matchbox Garage uses it all the time, and it often only takes seconds. Using a tall heat-proof glass jar (he uses a foot-long hotdog jar), and only enough boiling water to cover the model, and a spoonful of lye, he gets great results. I'd still check out the smaller hardware stores, to see if they have any of the good stuff, though.

Awesome! Was just watching some of your other videos. Just purchased an iwata air brush, sparmax compressor and a handful of paints and etc. Gonna start customizing soon. Used to do it years ago but with inferior tools. Wish me luck!
Turned out great. I live in Norway, and nothing is alowed here,so my paint stripper is wery eco-friendly. I just brush it on in a thin layer and hit it with å hair dryer. Speeds up the prosess Å lot. Try it next time
Nice clean cut out on the hood, paint is amazing too, l think a keg in place of that box in bed would finish it off. Cool truck, love the sound effects you make. Needs tail lights
Fantastic body/detail work! When you said take it old school, I thought you would do a spectra flame red or blue since the body was mint. But metallic flake did not disappoint. Success for the channel in 2020!
That paint and engine swap is fkn sick. A bit of a downgrade from a V8 to an i-6 though. And a little detail on the matchbox I thought was really nice: on the base, it has 3 pedals. A detail no one would ever notice, but there they are. Super cool.
I dont know if anybody has said it before but, if you want more substance and instantly harden super glue you could do a few layers of super glue and baking soda. For example joining the engine and interior plastic pieces.
I know it's late but I did something similar and the pipes did sit high so I cut them down and fitted brass pipe with a slightly downward angle. Just as an idea. But do love your work. Getting through your videos 1 by 1.
Looks pretty awesome like the color I use color shot paint pens for my projects I'm working on two monster trucks once a Dodge Charger and one's a v8 bomber C10 body converting that into a Chevy C10 so it would be cool to print out a grill decal for it and a tailgate decal for the back

That's a sweet hot rod and that color with the flakes pops I would pay $15 to $20 dollars for that you did a great job.
Cool casting overall, but you fixed the two main issues IMO, the engine and the wheels. The paint as usual looks great too!
