Ford needs to give the King Ranch projector headlights and LED tails like the Platinum and Limited…especially for the ridiculous prices they’re asking
Its probably an option this truck just wasn't ordered with them, might even be a f450 thing. Would not know without going online and building.

The King Ranch should have Saddle Bags on the back of the front seats to really push that cowboy vibe.. my Longhorn has them.. and they just put a smile on my face when even I have to go back there.
My 2008 has them and i agree, still looks good but saddle backs would be cooler

I have a new King Ranch. It blows away the Platinum. I spent $100K to be able to have that opinion.
For you fellas who like oxford white. King Ranch is the last trim level that offers it.

On the website, the grill is different on the DRW. So the platinum dually, would have a similar grill as the King Ranch.

LED lights are cool, until they don’t work. When a truck is used as a truck it’s going to get battle scars, especially at the business end. If those taillights get even the slightest crack in them moisture will set in and that’s the beginning of the end. Also, since the BLIS module is connected to the truck’s network, if it gets corrosion in it it could cause a host of other systems to be affected and throw fault codes. Owners then find out a replacement taillight is over $500. Old school bulb taillights are less that $100 to replace.
General Motors will have to come out with max recline seats and shoulder and upper back adjustment

So, aside from the sales pitch on Fords, on another note, think you’ll ever hook your 5th wheel to your dually so we can see how it tows with the 37’s compared to when it was stock. Since there is no way to re gear the Chevys, it’s good content, just sayin’
It'll tow power wise just fine due to the fact it won't be overloaded on payload. All we'll know is what he tells us about the handling. That much sidewall flex can't make it handle like stock but you could air them up hard as a brick.

Ultimate Lariat vs Platinum?
King ranch is still kind of city but the city boy of the country.
Getting Ford to build a 450 KR or Platinum is going to take forever. I'm 20 months in on a F450 KR order and still do not have a build date. The first order was a 2022 and I had to re-order for 2023 and 2024.
Lariat? Because the price is slightly less ridiculous 😅
Lariat price is also ridiculous... Most buyers in Canada are forced to buy an XLT with premium package... SAD!

In the early stages of projector headlights yes there was a huge difference between both . But nowadays reflectors have improved . Still projector is better but reflector is not bad at all .
Get both, king ranch working by day, platinum to take the wife out that evening to dinner

They come standard but supply issues/Ford dropped the ball again. The KR originally had full LED taillights listed too but by the time production started, Ford pulled a switcheroo on us Smdh
Ford ran out of parts in late 2023 and deleted them for the end of model year. You get a whole $300 credit on your $100,000 truck.
King rancher is a lot better than the other truck
And there is no speaker in the head rest on 24
My 22 lariat ultimate is almost just as nice as that platinum. Its not worth the price difference
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but….
I had both a 22 king ranch and a 22 platinum, both tremor editions.
I now have a 23 f350 platinum. All were the 6.7 l diesel.
And indeed the 23 is leaps and bounds above any 22 in ride, power, and interior quality.
I also had a 20 lariat ultimate f350 tremor, specked up to the same as a platinum so that I could have the blacked out package.
But the interior was very disappointing….it was even real leather. It was supposed to be, but the dealer admitted it wasn’t. So I went back to the platinums and KR’s.
King Ranch has the best leather. But Platinum’s are nice too.
I go back and forth between the two.
My friend who also had a 22 Platinum and now has a 23 is amazed at how much better the 23 is over the 22.
20, 21, and 22’s had very small changes between them. But huge change on the 23’s.
