I chose not to go with premix because in fine print it said the company would not be responsible for cracks. It's difficult to prevent these cracks in areas that are very hot.
So I used a truck that actually mix the material on spot and brings it to the roof and the laborers spread the mixture. It's time consuming though. Started 9:00 am and ended around 10 pm the night.
Good to know that you guys are very considerate when it comes on to making your work schedule around the guests being there.

You guys made the right choice with using the ready mix cement for the roofing rather than manual labour. It's better for all the reasons you have mentioned.
Roofing done with ready mixed cement tend to leak less as well.

We are also building our house in Jamaica. Can you please send me the email of the company you used for decking. Kitchen and dining room is already decked. Need to do living room, two bedrooms, master bedroom and bathroom, and master closet (his and her's) and veranda . We have people out there to watch over the work but need good crew and roof company

Happy mothers day Cass. I am glad I watch this video. I need to come home and do my own negotiation. I pay $70 a day for props, they took them 3wks before the pouring of concrete. It's been 32 days so far at 10k per day. I have 5 more days to go, that's about 370k for props alone. The concrete was 1.5mil. Am definitely coming home. Thanks for sharing

like how Evertan blocks looks he is a very good mason that dont drink alot rum . not all mason in jamaica work like him , have to stop my house because the block them all lay bad , all of my worker drinking and pouil the work.
Construction price really gone up. Really glad I was able to cast mi roof before mi did leave. A just fi finish up electrical work, rendering, flooring and put in bathroom fixtures and windows and doors. I know that’s gonna run way more money than it would have in 2019. Anyways love how unuh a put in the work mon and happy Mother’s Day to Cas. Bless up

You have to be very careful not to make your guests uncomfortable. At certain imports intervals in our construction, we don’t have guests. We schedule the work accordingly

That make sense because you can't create revenue from an investment that is stagnant, but this will create passive income on a daily, weekly or monthly period and can then expand, because your home is a longtime investment and the only you can reap from it is when you sell it.

I did buy every single board an I sell them back when am done for example I buy ply at $3,445 an when i done I sell back for $6,000 because qt that time ply did gone sky high at 10,000
