    You sold your old ones to my brother lol. Imagine my surprise when I saw his grill in the video. They’re still holding up well. They work really good in the afternoon blocking out the glare on the TV on game days.

    I have the same shades but 8x8. I agree that the fabric is great for sure. Mine has lasted for over 5 years now. You should protect the fabric where it touches the wood because it WILL fray where it rubs on the post. The bungee cord that holds it at the bottom will wear out with the weather too. I replaced them with an attached screen door spring (about 10" long) on each side to keep tension (using conduit straps). It has worked out great and my shades are still tight and perfect even in the wind.

      It holds up great. It will keep rain out but no necessarily intended to do that, A great value for the money IMHO.
