I played this Mozart concerto during the second half of my college junior piano recital, and I played the Beethoven cadenzas. I can’t imagine it played without the Beethoven cadenzas. I really love this piece of music, but I’ll tell all of you one thing. It is not a song, dammit! Songs have lyrics to be sung. When did all of the uneducated masses start calling piano pieces “songs”? Stop it!
