Great Video! You are the only one to produce a video where you actually clean the smoker. You showing how to remove the pellets has answered my question I could not find an answer for. By the way I like the pig pit. :)
And, that shop vac is either dirty itself, or the worst one on the market. I have a little Shark hand held vacuum that sucks harder than that beast of his.
Dude, those are good pellets and can be used latter. Scoop them out with your hand put them in a container for another cook with that flavor. What a wast!
Why do people feel like they have to have music on a video or pictures. No one wants to hear your version of rock and roll. I didn't even watch the rest of the video.
You vacuumed up the pellets in the shop vac with the ash (and whatever else you use the shop vacation for)...then dug them out to use later? Terrible idea man. Use a big plastic cup or scoop to pull the pellets out with (whatever you can't get you use your hand for). Put them in an air tight storage container and keep it indoors. Honestly, I'd remove this mistake of a video if I were you.
Next weeks video! How to clean a shop vac.

I did save them for later use. I will make sure I tell everyone in my first update.
Cool intro song!
Wasting the pellets and your shop vac was plugged!
you gotta be kidding! i am going back to my weber!!
LOL that fine dust sure clogs shop vac in a hurry.
Why in the heck would you vacuum out the pellets. I burn them up in the Traeger or use the door on the back to empty them.
You totally lost me here.
Sam Amato thought the exact same thing. Lol
I assume he does not have the clean out because my smoker does not have a clean out for the pellets. Mine is a Eastwood 34.
Exactly my thought. And why waste half a vid w/ a shopvac

And yet here you are.
I'm with you. WHY?

What a piss poor design to not have a dump door for the pellets
The newer models now have them.
