HERMITCRAFT! Back on the grind! Have a fantastic day and let me know what you think about the farm and the new area?! Don't forget to follow me over at Twitter twitter.com/WorldofKeralis or Instagram instagram.com/iamkeralis
I loved this episode. 💖 I'm glad you and Pearl teamed up. That's a good pairing. Everything about this season feels really good and fresh because of the permits and how they're causing the Hermits to step out of their comfort zones. It's great to watch. The new palm tree is great! I really like the variety. I think you should leave the tree nursery area alone for now. Maybe do some ground texturing but that's all. There are definitely tree nurseries in asia so IMO it fits in perfectly. It could also double as a llama farm. Just release them into it as long as the fence is continuous. Regarding the boosh farm, it's not going to work longterm for jungle trees because you don't get enough saplings back. For those you need a full 5x5 area to maximize the leafage and thus maximize the sapling return rate. That's the only issue I see with it. Find what works for you even if it's less efficient. Also, small dripleaf can only be collected from lush caves or traders. It is barely renewable so be deliberate and sparing with it unless you get a good supply. Never bonemeal small dripleaf since it always turns into big dripleaf. Bonemeal big dripleaf when you want to duplicate it.
Poopy flowers and mangroovy trees made me smile! Would one not get more wood from four spruce grown into large redwood per sapling? Maybe that’s more time to harvest however. Your base is excellent! Relax vibes into spring and summertime usa! 🌲🌴🌱
You should name the wither something like "Maybe You Should Turn Back" or a similar warning phrase. This way, if someone stumbles across the farm and sees the boss bar, it will be a funny moment.
An idea for the mailbox would be to have it as a sort of delivery truck but beach van style? Almost like the old VW vans that are associated with hippies
As someone that lives in Hawaii, here are a couple of small builds that might fit in that dirt patch near the yacht you mentioned at the end: 1) Tropical fruit stand, 2) Smoothie stand, 3) Local crafts shop And a couple of other thematic options that might fit your build in general: 1) Surf shop/surf lessons area (somehow making a Minecraft wave would be cool!) 2) Local food trucks (maybe near the future volleyball courts as that is common here) 3) Waterfalls (my favorite parts of Hawaii) 4) A volcano This is my first Keralis video, so I'm sorry if some of these ideas are a bit off. Just my two-cents :)
Very excited for a Keralis and Pearl team up! Also for mangrove bushes you could team up with skizz if you want. He has the mangrove wood permit so he is chopping those trees down all the time and could collect the leaves for you or you the wood for him
Good idea! Scar mentioned he might use some as "bananas" on tress and obviously Joel made a squid, those cattails used candles as well. There are a lot of possibilities
I imagine the candles look like Energy drinks or Gatorade bottles. Set up a water-side Tiki Bar where u can sell (custom art) "boat drinks" like margaritas or pina coladas for the grown-up's, & juice or Gatorade for the kiddos! 😉
You have the leaves permit so you could technically sell trees, as you did for X. Lots of her,it’s might be interested in your hand crafted palms and booshes. That might be a very profitable way of selling your leaves. ❤
You could probably ask Skizzleman to help hook you up with mangrove leaves, at least temporarily. He's manually harvesting the trees manually (at least for the time being) and I'm sure that he'd be willing to let you snag the leaves.
36:48 You could add a bench there, or a swing? Just some simple little decoration that won't distract from the yacht, but will help tie it together. idk
I think some kind of a snack van/ice cream van could be a great place for the mail. You could even transform it with the help of Etho to design a "payment system" for placing the shulker that acts like you're giving money and a "receiving system" that acts as receiving the "purchased" snack/ice cream. Thanks as always for a great inspirational episode Papa K!
hey Keralis i love your little recurring jokes and phrases. “this is the German coast guard what are you sinking about” lol. its been a while since you’ve done the “look into my eyes and nothing but my eyes”
honestly, your base thus far is absolutely insane, and in my opinion the best build on the server, because of how... distinct it feels, i guess like with most people's bases, it's clear they wanted a certain vibe and they want their area to convey that kind of "bigger on the inside" vibe, like how with the cyberpunk city even though it's not actually a city, they clearly want it to ^feel^ absolutely enormous your base, as of right now, has such a distinct vibe, and is so perfectly dense, that i could absolutely imagine it going on for miles, even if it's ultimately only a few hundred blocks wide, it feels so intricate and realised that it could be its own entire biome.
Keralis your tree farm is so cool. i love seeing people build unique red stone designs that aren’t necessarily most efficient. it reminds me of everything i love about how etho plays.
Love how your base is coming together. Some ideas for consideration would be a swimming grotto with a waterfall, maybe a swim up bar so the other hermits could sit in the water, grab a drink and watch the fireworks. Another idea would be little rental huts like you see along the shore in many south Asian countries.
🍹🌴 Tropical Store idea: I imagine the candles look like Energy drink or Gatorade bottles. Set up a water-side Tiki Bar (complete with a mini pond & palm tree by the store) where u can sell (custom art) "boat drinks" 🍹 like margaritas or pina coladas for the grown-up's, & juice or Gatorade for the kiddos! 😉
Keralis, you can only get the small dripleaf from wandering traders and the lush caves biome but need shears or silk touch to harvest. I can’t remember which one it is. Hope this helps
I think the identical trees really feels like a tree nursery, all planted perfectly in rows at the same growth point. I love it. For the empty area near the boat, it really feels like a bench or two to sit and look out over the water would be perfect.
set your "minions" loose into the caves a weekend and your rich, diamonds are so easy to find down in the large caves. (you might have to travel a few thousand blocks out to get virgin caves though, the hermits has been busy! 😀)
I absolutely love the nursery. The spot that you pointed out near the lake may be a good spot for a bench looking at the firework lake IDK. You always make everything look so lived in it's such a talent.
Been watching Hermitcraft for a while now and Keralis and xB playing minigames is definitely one of my favorite interactions ever. I remember season 7 and the tons of minigames there (Cub's pyramid and the minigame district). It was awesome.
LOVE how it's coming along! You could make a little fruit seller in one of those spots that needs something smaller than a house or tiki bar. Maybe a cart for prepared fruit (or ice cream and popsicles?), or a truck with fruit being sold out of it, depending on how big you want it to be.
i love the little trees! as someone that really struggles with organics it's simple enough that even i could reproduce it in my own worlds, but its such a charming little tree
What a lovely episode, Papa K!!! Love it! It is totally my style and I'm copying like crazy for my own games on a minecraft server here in Germany. Like these phantastic little palm trees with these dripstone "thingies".... All the hermits are great this season! I'm soooooo excited!!!❣
For some strange reason, the music used for your timelapses seriously relaxes my brain. The brain goes into chill vibes mode as soon as I hear the familiar notes.
How about adding some cultural building/structure? Maybe some Moai statues, or temples like in Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia. You can make a shield volcano too like in Hawaii if you have space.
Ah man, Sthlm sunset just hits different for the timelapse ❤ I love the decoration of the booshes farm. I agree some texture on the ground would add to it, but I kinda like the homogeinity of the trees. That's what gives me the tree nursery vibe the most. Great episode!
Hey Keralis! Have you considered trying some armor stand magic with yellow candles like Joel did to add some bananas to the tree nursery for a banana farm? Could be cool
I think that the bar make more sense near the post box, more like a part of the resort. Near the nursery I think it would fit to have things for the workers, maybe another bar, but a less touristy one, or maybe a local grocery shop, something like that.
You area is so beautiful. All the other hermits have created beautiful buildings and stuff as well, but I personally love the vibe of your area. If I could live in a Minecraft world, I might chose to live in your base.
Keralis I would honestly say don't worry about messy redstone. We have all been there and it takes years of fiddling with it, along with stealing inspiration from other people to create efficient compact redstone. Just the mere fact that you know how the different components work makes it an excellent work. Just don't forget to place all redstone on a dedicated redstone block, so you or others don't destroy the circuit by accident.
On that edge near the ship, where you have mentioned that it is too close for the house, you can build relaxation corner. Put some bench or a swing for people to sit and enjoy
Man your base is looking so beautiful! With those shaders on, I wish I was there irl. For the tree nursery, you could add some variation in a really simple way by making a few of the trees one block taller, maybe? Such an insanely good design for a tree btw, never would’ve thought of dripstone in a million years!
36:51 Maybe a Bus stop to provide shade and a place to sit for the workers of the tree nursery, there are some interesting ones here in Brazil and in some other tropical countries.
A van would be good in one of the empty spaces. Getting a van down by the beach is a thing you hear a lot of people do (at least in the States). I can imagine VW style van would fit pretty well. Maybe a blue or a yellow one!
You could introduce mellons and lime terracotta to represent separate palm leaves since they are typically huge compared to the smaller leaves of the boooshies.
This is by far my favorite season of Papa K. I love how everything is original and you’ve stepped out of your comfort zone of industrial and everything concrete.
We love the nursery. I don’t even think you need to vary the leaves up. They are young trees and wouldn’t really look all that different at that stage anyway. Fantastic work and fantastic episode. Can’t wait for the next one.
Perhaps in the small space overlooking the yacht, could have one of those double seater, hanging style rocking chairs, like a small cozy lookout rest spot
In that little spot over by the tree farm in between the yacht and the tree farm can make a little shop where you could advertise your business of making custom trees for people, and that way you could generate some more diamonds
Armor stand and cocoa pods for coconut maybe? To be honest I think it looks pretty perfect as is, I live in the middle of plant nursery country and everything is in precise rows and just as much room as they need and not an inch more tbh. Your gardening is THE BEST. ❤❤❤
28:28 The pot works like that because Minecraft doesn't consider it as a solid block, meaning it doesn't power the block, but rather everything directly attached to the power source, just like glass blocks.
Perfect timing for a video. My dog was put down last night, so I'm glad you uploaded. Helps me keep my mind occupied and not have to think about it all the time. Love you and your videos, Keralis. Keep doing what you do.
Small brown blocks in the trees for coconuts? Maybe a armor stand art using blaze rods for batches of bananas. Small blue or purple blocks in armor stands for dates? I know one of those aren't from palm trees, but if Keralis wanted to add colour to his trees.
For the palm tree nursery, maybe you could have one row be shorter, so they're even smaller baby trees? Or some pots with ferns (even baby-er trees), or a mulch/soil pile, or even a little gardening cart. Lots you could do there I think.
I feel like the empty little spot next to the tree nursery could fit a nice semi outdoors tool storage space! where the people who take care of the place keep shovels and the like!
To go with the "oasis" theme, you could have made that stone slab an wir strip with a little prop plane. You have a yacht already, but having a personal air strip would have been cool to add!
I have so many thoughts!! I absolutely love the patented Keralis walks through other people's bases. You always help the hermitcraft world feel huge/alive and I love the tours.
I think adding in some lava or a volcano would be a great addition. You could use some black stone and deepslate as a crust on the lava. But I do think you need some volcanic activity. I enjoy the videos! Keep up the good work!
can make some small carts with barrels holding coconuts or something to make it more alive, maybe even have cleo put some workers collecting them or caring for the palm trees For the smaller area on the edge can make aresting area with like a hammock or a cute beach gazebo with some drinks and smol booshes love them builds keralis
The tree nursery could have one or two of the plants with a bit extra, using armor stands. Some sort of coconut (fire charges or one of the brown blocks would probably work), banana bunches (golden carrots would probably to that pretty well) , or not-quite-rip mango (sniffer eggs) could add some variety. Or, instead of armor stand work, just mini-blocks.
HERMITCRAFT! Back on the grind! Have a fantastic day and let me know what you think about the farm and the new area?!
Don't forget to follow me over at Twitter twitter.com/WorldofKeralis or Instagram instagram.com/iamkeralis
SHASH WAMMY
I think you might have more luck getting all the leaves if you slow down the minecarts slightly by waterlogging the rails
I loved this episode. 💖 I'm glad you and Pearl teamed up. That's a good pairing. Everything about this season feels really good and fresh because of the permits and how they're causing the Hermits to step out of their comfort zones. It's great to watch. Interesting and fun! I do hope the music you listen to while building is at least as much fun as your timelapse music is for us. ❤
Poopy flowers and mangroovy trees made me smile! Would one not get more wood from four spruce grown into large redwood per sapling? Maybe that’s more time to harvest however. Your base is excellent! Relax vibes into spring and summertime usa! 🌲🌴🌱
I hope you never stop doing the German Coastguard joke, Keralis. It makes me laugh every single time. Simple and effective.
same it never gets old
I always wait for that follow up whenever Papa K starts to sink xD
would be hard to keep count of it XD
You should name the wither something like "Maybe You Should Turn Back" or a similar warning phrase. This way, if someone stumbles across the farm and sees the boss bar, it will be a funny moment.
“This is not a place of honour”
I mean “Don’t touch the wither”is pretty catchy
yessss
Great idea 😊.
Stay back!
21:57 goes straight to the out of context compilation
I love how he tries to save it and makes it worse with a different word
was looking for someone to say this lol poor keralis cannot say hoe-er in his accent
The best save ever
19:57
No explanation needed
Rip the small dripleaf
You're gonna have to grab some shears to pick it up from the lush caves, or find a wandering trader if you want more papa K
ooh
I just knew you can shears them
ty!
Isn’t Hypno selling them? Perhaps I’m confused.
I'm pretty sure last season they had a datapack that let them craft small dripleaf, maybe it's in this season as well?
Yep wandering trader
An idea for the mailbox would be to have it as a sort of delivery truck but beach van style? Almost like the old VW vans that are associated with hippies
that would be dope
Surfer van. Maybe a campfire right outside. Camping on the beach.
LIKE THE MYSTERY MACHINE
As someone that lives in Hawaii, here are a couple of small builds that might fit in that dirt patch near the yacht you mentioned at the end:
1) Tropical fruit stand,
2) Smoothie stand,
3) Local crafts shop
And a couple of other thematic options that might fit your build in general:
1) Surf shop/surf lessons area (somehow making a Minecraft wave would be cool!)
2) Local food trucks (maybe near the future volleyball courts as that is common here)
3) Waterfalls (my favorite parts of Hawaii)
4) A volcano
This is my first Keralis video, so I'm sorry if some of these ideas are a bit off. Just my two-cents :)
A wave would be awesome!!
These are great ideas! I hope Papa K sees
welcome! hope you stay! :)
That little spot near the yacht maybe just a bench, seating area to look out at the river?
They're awesome ideas love them. Welcome to keralis 😊
I swear out of all of the hermits it just hits diffrent when he ulploads
kudos to everyone, but papa k is papa k ❤
21:57 bit risky that 😂🖤
😎👿🤣🤣
Best thing in the video. Classic Papa K@@twodeep4345
that one's going into a compilation
🤨Ayo
I mean he wasn't wrong, professional hoes are pretty fast haha 😂
Keralis, your base is not "not bad" it's actually one of the best bases this season
Very excited for a Keralis and Pearl team up! Also for mangrove bushes you could team up with skizz if you want. He has the mangrove wood permit so he is chopping those trees down all the time and could collect the leaves for you or you the wood for him
I'd love to see a keralis / pearl team up for a build.
Good suggestion about Skizz
Once Impulse's city is done, you should pop on the shaders, start some synthwave music, wait for the night, and do a run through it.
And bdub’s*
Those cattails at 14:30 blew my mind... so simple and so pretty!
You probably need a showcase of the candles. Like to shpw how they can be used (outside of lighting). Cleo sold them as "water bottles" in season 8.
21:56 this will 100% go into Keralis out of context 😂
You have the leaves permit so you could technically sell trees, as you did for X. Lots of her,it’s might be interested in your hand crafted palms and booshes. That might be a very profitable way of selling your leaves. ❤
Maybe if you use mangrove roots for dead leaves or sections of the tree nursery? I absolutely love the palm trees!
36:48 a life guard chair would be perfect there!!
You could probably ask Skizzleman to help hook you up with mangrove leaves, at least temporarily. He's manually harvesting the trees manually (at least for the time being) and I'm sure that he'd be willing to let you snag the leaves.
Good suggestion
36:47 that looks like a perfect spot for a bench
Papa K! Never ever change your timelapse music. Its iconic and never fails to make me dance! Love to you and yours!
36:48 You could add a bench there, or a swing? Just some simple little decoration that won't distract from the yacht, but will help tie it together. idk
A bike shed would fit well and match the aesthetic.
i think maybe a life guard chair and maybe some towels/lounge chairs would look great
@@kilometer212 That does sound great.
I love it!! Don’t worry about the nursery being a bit repetitive. That’s how they look in real life😂
That NO after bonemealing the small drip leaf xD I feel your pain Keralis
I think some kind of a snack van/ice cream van could be a great place for the mail. You could even transform it with the help of Etho to design a "payment system" for placing the shulker that acts like you're giving money and a "receiving system" that acts as receiving the "purchased" snack/ice cream. Thanks as always for a great inspirational episode Papa K!
Please never stop with the German Coastguard joke! I crylaugh every single time. 💚
12:43 As a German this was hilarious 😂
hey Keralis i love your little recurring jokes and phrases. “this is the German coast guard what are you sinking about” lol. its been a while since you’ve done the “look into my eyes and nothing but my eyes”
You're whole area is cool. It really gives off that retired, love within walking distance of a shopping area vibe.
honestly, your base thus far is absolutely insane, and in my opinion the best build on the server, because of how... distinct it feels, i guess
like with most people's bases, it's clear they wanted a certain vibe and they want their area to convey that kind of "bigger on the inside" vibe, like how with the cyberpunk city even though it's not actually a city, they clearly want it to ^feel^ absolutely enormous
your base, as of right now, has such a distinct vibe, and is so perfectly dense, that i could absolutely imagine it going on for miles, even if it's ultimately only a few hundred blocks wide, it feels so intricate and realised that it could be its own entire biome.
Keralis should be hermitcraft gardener, making a shop and helping hermits green up their bases, to complement the flower, bushes and bees empire 🌴
You could use armor stands to add apples to the trees in the orchard, and invisible item frames to have some on the ground that fell off
Just please make sure to lock them.
Keralis, you can only get the small dripleaf from wandering traders and the lush caves biome but need shears or silk touch to harvest. I can’t remember which one it is. Hope this helps
I think the identical trees really feels like a tree nursery, all planted perfectly in rows at the same growth point. I love it.
For the empty area near the boat, it really feels like a bench or two to sit and look out over the water would be perfect.
it takes around 5~10 min to get 3 boxes of sand
Doc's deal is really good
set your "minions" loose into the caves a weekend and your rich, diamonds are so easy to find down in the large caves. (you might have to travel a few thousand blocks out to get virgin caves though, the hermits has been busy! 😀)
virgin caves lmaoo
I absolutely love the nursery. The spot that you pointed out near the lake may be a good spot for a bench looking at the firework lake IDK. You always make everything look so lived in it's such a talent.
"Where would Impulse hide a bed"
*immediately finds the bed.
ngl, I busted laughing at that comedic timing. and that cut? perfection. lol
Been watching Hermitcraft for a while now and Keralis and xB playing minigames is definitely one of my favorite interactions ever. I remember season 7 and the tons of minigames there (Cub's pyramid and the minigame district). It was awesome.
I love the post system and seeing all the wholesome gifts between hermits!
"German coast guard answerimg. Wasser r u sinking aboat?"😂😂😂 bahaha, dual language puns!
I really like the use of dripstone as the trunk of the trees. That area looks so good.
Keralis if you came up with that boosh farm, then you can’t say you’re bad at redstone. That was great!
Keralis you should make a tropical island airport, those tiny airports with gravel runways!
Papa K.. at 36:47 maybe a bench and a bit of booshes would be fantastic😊😊
12:45 the donkey fits perfectly over the "i was thinking " 😂😂
How about adding some cultural building/structure? Maybe some Moai statues, or temples like in Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia. You can make a shield volcano too like in Hawaii if you have space.
Ah man, Sthlm sunset just hits different for the timelapse ❤
I love the decoration of the booshes farm.
Make yellow candles look like bananas on your trees
I think that the bar make more sense near the post box, more like a part of the resort.
Near the nursery I think it would fit to have things for the workers, maybe another bar, but a less touristy one, or maybe a local grocery shop, something like that.
You area is so beautiful. All the other hermits have created beautiful buildings and stuff as well, but I personally love the vibe of your area. If I could live in a Minecraft world, I might chose to live in your base.
The dripstone palm trees are brilliant!!
For the areas that you don’t know about you could do custom rock formations and honestly if you aren’t sure pearl does locks of rock formations
25:32 "It's not terrible"
It's pretty cool actually
Keralis I would honestly say don't worry about messy redstone. We have all been there and it takes years of fiddling with it, along with stealing inspiration from other people to create efficient compact redstone. Just the mere fact that you know how the different components work makes it an excellent work. Such an insanely good design for a tree btw, never would’ve thought of dripstone in a million years!
You are SO GOOD at theming. The theme of your base is just so consistent and well thought out.
Keralis, your base is beautiful as always. I just love the vibe of your videos and your interactions with the Hermits. Pearl especially. Very funny!
36:51
Maybe a Bus stop to provide shade and a place to sit for the workers of the tree nursery, there are some interesting ones here in Brazil and in some other tropical countries.
Hi, at that spot in 36:46 i would build chairs where people can relax and watch the scenery .
A van would be good in one of the empty spaces. Getting a van down by the beach is a thing you hear a lot of people do (at least in the States). I can imagine VW style van would fit pretty well. Maybe a blue or a yellow one!
Absolutely amazing ❤
A tiki bar near to the possible lake and shopping district could be good. You could also sell your honey bottles there as drinks.
You could introduce mellons and lime terracotta to represent separate palm leaves since they are typically huge compared to the smaller leaves of the boooshies.
This is by far my favorite season of Papa K. I love how everything is original and you’ve stepped out of your comfort zone of industrial and everything concrete.
For the empty space near the boat you should build a bench ! With some plants and all, just a chill space to rest and watch the farm !

Armor stand and cocoa pods for coconut maybe? To be honest I think it looks pretty perfect as is, I live in the middle of plant nursery country and everything is in precise rows and just as much room as they need and not an inch more tbh.
Your gardening is THE BEST. ❤❤❤
Ooooo, a surf shop would be awesome!
30:33 Keralis, you should challenge Xisuma, he’s super fast
28:28 The pot works like that because Minecraft doesn't consider it as a solid block, meaning it doesn't power the block, but rather everything directly attached to the power source, just like glass blocks.
Perfect timing for a video. My dog was put down last night, so I'm glad you uploaded. Helps me keep my mind occupied and not have to think about it all the time.
Love you and your videos, Keralis. Keep doing what you do.
Has Keralis mentioned if he will be revisiting cities skylines 2? I miss the series, I watched it before bed 🥲
In the open spot near the Yacht maybe just a nice park bench to relax and enjoy the view on
I love the palm trees with the drip stone! The area looks soo beautiful
Building Suggestions: Margaritaville style restaurant and bar, a full traditional Luau with dancers, small Rum distillery, tourist trap
Small brown blocks in the trees for coconuts? Maybe a armor stand art using blaze rods for batches of bananas. Small blue or purple blocks in armor stands for dates? I know one of those aren't from palm trees, but if Keralis wanted to add colour to his trees.
a row along the tree lines of darker soil like mud or podzol can make it look like the trees are being irrigated by an underground tube.
Small drip leaf can be found in moss caves, as well as from wandering traders
This is one of my favorite bases of all time!
The atmosphere is just so relaxed and cozy, it's really great!
To go with the "oasis" theme, you could have made that stone slab an wir strip with a little prop plane. You have a yacht already, but having a personal air strip would have been cool to add!
A kayak, surfboard, snorkel rental hut would be a cute addition near a beach/ coral reef area.
Keep up the good work!
can make some small carts with barrels holding coconuts or something to make it more alive, maybe even have cleo put some workers collecting them or caring for the palm trees
For the smaller area on the edge can make aresting area with like a hammock or a cute beach gazebo with some drinks and smol booshes
love them builds keralis
Welcome back! I love the fake tree farm build!
It's always fun seeing Keralis and Pearl working together
