The safest place during tsunami is up in the air. Why don't they design some kind of hot air baloon that would able lift you up very quick? I know, to generate enough hot air is time consuming, but there is might be some kind of helium that will kick you up very fast and then you can use something else to stay up high and in order stay in one place it can be attached to the ground, so it not blown away by wind. You are wellcome, I just gave you guys business idea for free.
Al Sten Very true...as was clearly displayed in the movie San Andreas, when Dwayne Johnson was up inside a helicopter at the time the quake hit, he couldn't have been in a safer place...
Yahuchanonyakov Assuming said object needs to be secured to the ground, well that wouldn't work. The water rushing would either A, pull down the object by the sheer force the water or B, the object keeping I on the ground would loosen them you float away. The best choice would be get your pilots license and spend close to a million dollars on a private helicopter pad and helicopter and have spare fule on board.
Because you would need a huge balloon, fuel and flame, or huge amounts of helium... it wouldn't be practical at all. Hot air balloons used to carry only a few people are huge and need large open spaces to inflate. Plus you wouldn't be able to tie it down in a tsunami almost everything gets washed away.
These things should be sold as a recreational thing also or rented out. People will have a blast going down a river in one of those things. At least I would.
What happens if you get washed out to sea? The EPERV is not a guaranteed rescue. In a mass disaster, the coast gaurd can't go chase every signal. They sould have an anchor line or attach a weather balloon to it. Float 100 ft above your house in that pod sounds safer. I have a weather balloon, hellium tank and climbing harness. Floating 100ft+ off the ground is way safer. It takes 5 minutes to deploy, from back pack to airborn 10 ft. Ascend 15 ft per sec. Stay up for up to 3 days. We use it for parties and trips to baja for fun. Cost: balloon 400$ hellium+tank 80$ harness + rigging 100$.
Such a gentle ride compared to the way the Japanese Tsunami tumbled everything in it's path along so many miles and into so many buildings and cars and debris.
This is a good idea, however I believe that there should he some kind of an extra ballast attached to the exterior that can be rapidly inflated from the inside in case you were to be buried in mud or trapped under an object in the water; something that would help insure you would pop back to the surface.
not really a good test is it considering those canoeists were probably getting ready to go down the same falls in nothing more than a fiberglass cigar tube
mrrv6apilot it would be much more dangerous if it had no imperfections like a low-head dam. With the way Rivers surge there's a pretty good chance they would be eventually pushed out of the hydraulic. Seeing this still makes me a little nervous
With 2 broken legs no one can hear you scream.it needs a external bull horn.so you can plead for rescue!DERP!ohh and a eyelet on the top so the navy can latch 10 at a time to helicopter survivors out like a bunch of grapes.
I wanna see what's going on inside.?
Yeah why tf didn't they show us?
Same
sex
@@daweller 🤣
@@Aluxious45 because the person in there probably crying from the feeling or threw up 🤣🤣🤣

or a Rocket pods
I'd like to see some footage from the inside!
I bet they were puking their guts out after that wild ride ..... 🤪
USNVA11 h.
They puked inside and it became a vomit washer machine
There's a fine line between safety pod, and coffin.
BADD1ONE and this is a safety pod.
Funny
How about footage from inside, a interview with the occupant, a closeup of the pod afterwards and simmilar relevant infos?
Looks fun as hell
GGC63 hell is fun?

💡🧐👍
Would have loved to hear what they thought about it...............
this is a shower hose compared to the tsunami that can be created along NW fault line
Such a gentle ride compared to the way the Japanese Tsunami tumbled everything in it's path along so many miles and into so many buildings and cars and debris.
Great test! the Rhino paint perhaps needs a bit more work but in general its a good result and improves a family rate of survival somewhat.
A&A Britten I
They need to send it over Niaggra falls that’s a real test
What’s a rhino paint job?
I want to see this go over the falls
What camera in
imagine one puked inside it so everyone puked inside it and then you got stuck underwater and can't open the door what a way to die
Well I guess your all set in case a tsunami hits Wisconsin eh?
ILLAKILLA STONYG oh yeah lake Michigan man that will get us

Why wouldn't they have a camera inside too? I feel claustrophobic just watching.
Should of had a camera inside the ball
How do do you steer
You don't. You just hold on for dear life
I've done that drop In a kayak
Not a good thing for people with claustrophobia.
What if you drift into the ocean?
wow now im stuck in the middle of a waterfall
What about oxygen? How are they going to breathe
yup inside video
Can it survive a waterfall?
How do they get oxygen?
it is vented. actually not watertight
Let's see the inside, gets stuck in the current, I don't think so
That would pop like a grape against mother nature
She wants to bring a dog in there and it will pee n crap all over in there lol
you cant compare this little torrent to the force of a tsunami carrying mud and debris. but you know, goodluck ^^
It needs major adjustments and upgrades. if they would only give me a chanse i could help them i got great ideas.
The Indonesians very much needed this in 2018 Tsunami.
Looks like that droid from star wars.
not really a good test is it considering those canoeists were probably getting ready to go down the same falls in nothing more than a fiberglass cigar tube
I would pay to go on that looks fun
Nah dude, you’re supposed to press the launch button. The coordinates to planet Namek are already preset.
I'm way too claustrophobic. And prone to seasickness. I'll just live inland
That should become i ride charge $10. A pop u will be rich in no time
It's a floating BB8
Am I the only one that thought it said
human falls 🤣😅
No, they were laughing. Seems only the experienced boaters understood what risk they just took.
Yeah nah they got out that bitch pukering there gutts out after that one
mrrv6apilot it would be much more dangerous if it had no imperfections like a low-head dam. With the way Rivers surge there's a pretty good chance they would be eventually pushed out of the hydraulic. Seeing this still makes me a little nervous
Anyone with motion sickness would vomit their guts out!
can they even fucking breath in it

That's it? My beach ball can already do this..
Test it in the Viagra falls
ID be throwing up
Who gives a fuck about the paint in a life and death scenario lol
ExitStay Well you do want to be seen in the dark
try sending it at high speed into debris like cars and buildings. see how it holds up. what garbage.
Floating coffin
Lol barley made it threw a small water falls now imagine 40 foot waves lol I'll take my chances on buying a used helicopter
Note!!! Unman!!!
Useless test somewhat, even the paper boat can go down safely unmanned!!!
Where is maned test???
did you not read the titles, the first had one occupant, the second two.
